I saw the CoB movie for the first time a few days ago. I thought it was okay. Some characters cast well, some horribly, and only one perfectly-Simon. At least they didn't ruin his character. They cut out so many good parts though, and changed the story too much. There were also too many cheesy lines (like the 'Remember when I said I'd never seen an angel?' thing) and, really, that rune Clary did at the end to clean up her apartment was pushing it.
The Maze Runner, you're next on my list.
