In the quaint town of Mystic falls, nestled between rolling hills and whispering forests, there existed a timeless allure for the white widow, a small area out off the way of the busy lives of other people and the problems of the world.Anastastia sat on a worn wooden bench surrounded by different types of wild flowers,her eyes shut but her face was illuminated by the soft glow of the setting sun.She sighed in content.
"ANA!" a loud shout broke the girls peace.
Are you kidding me.
"yes Damon."the girl replied opening her eyes to be faced with the oldest Salvatore.
"I need your help." Damon stated, taking a seat next to her on the bench.
Ana turned to look at him. Looking at him with a face that said continue.
He explained the plan that he and the rest of the scooby doo gang have created to finally kill Katherine at the masked ball that night.
"and you need me because..."Ana said looking back out across the flowers.
"I wouldn't mind having extra protection for Elena and I need a date."
Ana raised her eyebrows at the vampire.
"it'll be fun,"
For petes sake.
"fine but I don't-"
"-get involved with supernatural crap" Damon interrupted using his hands to air quote the last two words.
"Pick you up at 7."he winked and walked off.
Anastasia stayed sat for a few more minutes before walking back to her house to get ready for the event.
Damon picked her up and took her to the venue. Where she avoided all of the scooby doo gang, got drunk and danced with one of her friends from the grill. It was dark outside when she left. After finding out from a call with Damon that Katherine was locked in a tomb and Elena almost died.
Elena sat on a bench outside the venue with Ana next to her treating her injuries.
"Thanks for this but why are you always helping me ." said Elena slightly wincing as Ana wrapped a gauze around her wound.
"I Haven't done anything to deserve it." the girl continued.
"I look after you because your just 16,you don't deserve anything that's happening to you." she replied giving the girl a small smile trying not to think about where she was at Elena's age.
The two girls walked back to Elena's car talking and laughing.
Ana suddenly noticed a change in the atmosphere and looked around.
"What's tha-"
