After the movie ended it was around 9pm. My phone was ringing through the movie but the irresponsible little sh*t I am, didn't answer it. "That was fun" Luke smiled. I agreed with a nod and a sigh as I stretched. "I should probably ring my dad back" I murmured and he also stopped stretching. "You didn't answer your dad? Won't he like kill you or something?" he asked getting up and crushing the 7up cans.

"Probably" I mumble while unlocking my phone to see 3 missed calls from him. Oops. "I mean I'm not complaining the classroom would be hell of a lot quieter" he chuckled and I growled. "Shut up" I spat sticking my hand out like a drama queen. "Yeah okay" he said before taking the pizza box and bringing it into his kitchen. I pressed my dads number and it started ringing. I crossed my fingers hoping he wouldn't be mad.

"Hadley" his voice boomed. I panicked "wrong number" I squeaked before hanging up. Well sh*t that's going to be hard to explain. I sighed before ringing him back. "Dad sorry I went to the school thingy this morning I fell and hurt my leg so my friend Lucy brought me to her house where i fainted from the blood. I'm awake like just now and I'm on the way home" I said into the phone as fast as possible not giving him time to talk, or me time to breath.

"Is she driving you home?" he asked sounding a bit more concerned than last time. "Uh, no." I replied, I wasn't going to ask Luke to drop me home. He drove me around already. Plus if my dad was waiting outside for me and Lucy turned out to be a boy, which was my teacher. Might be hard to explain. Wait! I said Lucia! Damn. Luke came back in from the kitchen and sat on the couch beside me. "Hello? Hadley did you hear me?" my dad called from the other end of the line.

"What no sorry." I said, completely forgetting I was still on the phone. "Well I can't pick you up because Gloria is borrowing it for some fashion show she's setting up for tomorrow" ew "you can't walk because your leg and the storm. I have never heard about Lucy but then again we haven't talked in two years" he was rambling really quietly to himself for a while before stopping. "Okay well if Lucy is a good friend of yours, and it's a Saturday, would she mind if you stayed over?" he finished his sentence and I nearly choked.

"She wouldn't mind" I said coughing and he sighed, okay great. I'll see you tomorrow pumpkin, love you" he said. "Love you too dad" I whispered before hanging up. Sh*t okay. I'll get him to drop me to Eloise's and I'll stay at hers. It's all good. "Uh Luke, that was my dad. He thinks I'm staying at my friend Lucia's house. I don't have a friend called Lucia" I chuckled feeling my cheeks heat up. His face looked understanding before it went to confusion. Then bam. Realisation. "Oh, I'm Lucia?" he asked sounding serious.

I couldn't help it. I laughed so hard. I mean come on who the hell says things like that everyday. I finally calmed down. "Yeah you are" I laughed once more. "But it's okay I won't stay here, if you can drop me to my friend Eloise's house I'll be out of your hair" I smiled and he laughed lightly before nodding "okay let's go". We went outside and we were hit with rain and a gush of wind. By the time we got to his car we were soaked.

We got back into his car and he put the keys in turning them. I expected to hear the engine turn on. Except it didn't. "What happened?" I asked him and he sighed running his hands through his hair before putting his head back. "I knew I should've got gas earlier" he murmured and this time I sighed and threw my head back. "Yeah dumb*ss" I said and he sighed. "I'll just walk, thanks for today. It was... good" I said unsure but decided to leave it there. "Hadley you can't walk down the road with your leg okay?" he said and I sighed. "Then give me a jockey back or something!" I said losing my patience.

"I won't do that either" he slightly chuckled. "Look you can stay at my house it's fine" he said and I was worried. Is it weird staying in your teachers house. F*ck yeah. "But" I began but he cut me off. "I'll get you home as soon as I can in the morning alright it'll be fine don't worry about it". I nodded. We got out of the car and the rain stuck to my skin again making me shiver. We got back inside his house and my shorts and jumper were clung to me.
