I was currently sitting in science trying to balance my pen on my top lip. It wasn't working as it kept slipping off and landing on my desk. "Hadley!" the teacher scolded me again for making noise. I put the pen down and picked a pencil up instead hoping it would be less distracting.

"Hadley. Stop right now", well that obviously didn't work, I look up to the teacher and give her an angelic smile but she rolls her eyes. She wrote two words on the board which was 'vertebrate' and 'invertebrate'. "Now, can anyone tell me what's the difference between these two" she asked the class a lot of people put their hands up. I did to while I was hopping around in my seat. "Theo" the teacher picked a guy who wasn't even paying attention. He just shrugged and the teacher sighed before picking me. I got this.

"I n is in front of the second one" I tell her and she looks like she's about to cry. I laugh to myself knowing I clearly got it wrong. I like science. I hate this teacher. Therefore I will drive her through the wall. "No Hadley, see me after class" she said and I rolled my eyes. The bell rung and I sped walk by her. "Hadley-" I cut her off by falling out of the classroom. "Dude move your big àss foot" I said before a hand was in front of my face. I thought it was to help me up but it smacked my face.

I stood up and pulled my sleeves up, "well douche" I say before seeing Wicktoria in front of me. I smack her before pushing her into the lockers behind her. I grabbed my bag before she could catch up with me and I ran to my last class before lunch, as I ran into the classroom I seen her trying to follow but her seventy inch heels stopped her. I stood in the classroom as everyone looked at me.

"Sup" I say giving them a peace sign before looking to the teacher. "Yo dog" I say to Mr. Hemmings, he looked as if he was trying not to smile but he just sighed and nodded me toward my seat. I made a pouty face before sitting down. He bored on about finding the total surface area of cones while I just started out the window, he called me out and words tumbled out of my mouth before I could stop them. "69".

He looked at me and sighed before shaking his head "incorrect, again. Don't just guess Hadley, actually try" he told me, completely fed up. "Sorry, it's my lucky number" I mumbled and the guy beside me held out his fist, which I noticed his phone number was on his knuckles. He shook his fist for a fist bump but I rolled my eyes and looked back at the board. Then to the window.

"Hadley stay after class you'll be spending your break in here" Mr. Hemmings told me as the bell rang and I groaned. "That's so not fair" I whined like a child before sitting on his chair at his desk. "Get off my chair" he looked at me expectantly. "Wait you're spending your break in here to?" I asked raising an eyebrow and he nodded. "Lame" I murmured before standing up. He walked to the cabinet and I just sat back down. I spun around in the chair waiting for him to do whatever he was doing.

He pulled a file out and dropped it in front of me on his desk. "That's your grades file, no student can see theirs but I'm showing you yours and hoping you'll realise something" he tells me before motioning me to open it. I go back to the first year I came to this school. All A's, the next year was B's, the year after that was C's... and so on.

"Tell me what you notice" he says folding his arms. I look up at him. "It's alphabetical" I giggle and he sighs before walking over to the other side of the desk beside me. He crouched down and took the file from me and brought it down to him. I looked down as he flicked through the pages. "Why couldn't your grades stay the same" he asked before looking up. Whoa he was really close, I coughed before leaning back in the spin chair, before it toppled over due to my force.

"Oh sh*t" I squealed as the chair fell and I landed on the ground with it. "Ouch" I grumble rubbing my elbow that was currently in pain. "Hadley, what. How did you even" Mr. Hemmings said holding a hand out for me, I hesitated before taking it. It was rough, like sand paper. I sighed, I wanted it to be soft. "Are you okay" he asked and I just replied a quick yeah thanks. "Why are your hands all rough" I ask sitting on his desk.
