That day finally came. With lot of determination and courage Diya headed toward the venue of their engagement. She was not scared of any consequences that may came after what ever is she going to do. She was worried how would Aarav react knowing her past. But whatever happen to her was not her fault but still she was nervous of the outcome.

At the engagement venue

The grand hall was filled with chatter, the sound of excitement in the air as Arjun and Akriti’s engagement ceremony began. The guests, dressed in their finest, congratulated the couple, their smiles wide and the atmosphere light.

However, amidst all the festivities, there was one guest who entered quietly—Diya. She walked alone, ignoring the whispers and mocking glances from those who had once been her friends. The rumors had already spread about her “failure” to compete and how she had allegedly been “jealous” of Akriti’s success.

"You came alone," Akriti  whispered. 'I thought you might hire someone to play the role of your boyfriend '

A few chuckled, their voices dripping with condescension. Diya’s heart didn’t waver. She had no intention of proving herself to these people anymore. This was her moment to speak the truth.

She stood at the center of the room, catching the attention of everyone as she pulled out a small remote from her pocket. The lights dimmed, and the large curtains behind Arjun and Akriti parted, revealing a screen. The crowd fell silent as a video began to play.

At first, it was quiet, just a faint buzz. Then, the voices started to fill the room. Diya's face was emotionless as she watched the footage, but the guests could feel the weight of what was to come.

It was a recording of a private conversation between Akriti and Arjun. The two were in an argument, clearly unaware they were being recorded. Akriti, her voice dripping with anger, accused Arjun of betraying her, while Arjun, frustrated, admitted to taking Diya's artwork and sabotaging her competition entry.

"You think Diya is weak, don’t you?" Akriti spat, her voice filled with venom. "She should’ve stayed out of our way, but now that she came into our life again,  we can take everything from her Like we did earlier."

"And that kidnapping—" Arjun's voice was colder, more calculating. "She’s never going to find out who did it. She’ll never know I helped set that up... It’s all part of the plan. You should’ve seen how she begged to get out."

Gasps rippled through the crowd as they absorbed the words on the screen. The friends, who had once mocked Diya for her silence, now sat frozen in their seats, unable to believe what they were hearing. The true extent of Arjun and Akriti’s betrayal was now laid bare for all to see. His face was a mixture of guilt and fear, knowing his betrayal had been exposed to everyone.

Akriti's engagement to Arjun was dissolved, and her reputation as a fraud was laid bare for everyone to see. She had lost everything she had built on lies and deceit.

Arjun stood there, powerless to fix the situation. He had been exposed not only as a betrayer but also as a man who had supported a manipulative, deceitful woman. His relationship with Diya was beyond repair, and his connection to Akriti was now tainted by his own actions.

For Diya, this moment was the culmination of her plan. She had not only regained what hers was but had also exposed the truth to everyone who had ever doubted her. She stood tall, knowing that she had done what was necessary—not just for revenge, but for justice. The crowd's silence spoke volumes as they absorbed the reality of what had just unfolded. Diya had taken control of her own story, and no one could take that away from her.

She didn't need to involve anyone else in her plan—she took charge of her own destiny and ensured that those who had wronged her faced the consequences.
