A few days have past and you have waited for Dante upon his return.

You were leaning by his desk crossing your arms waiting for a customer. The phone call from a few days happens to be an old acquaintance.

When the customer arrives, it was none other than the Marshal himself that guides the Prince.

Cor Leonis

"It's still no wonder they still called you Immortal. Aye, Cor." You addressed him.

"It's been a while to see you as well, (Y/n)." Cor greeted back. "You've been well."

You hand him coffee while you  drink you hot coca. "So what brings the Marshal of the Crown City of Lucis here? Come to see a ghost or some reincarnated CEO hunting down demons as we speak?"

"Yes and no. I heard rumors when something was about a Blade Runner working with a Devil Hunter that takes down demons." Cor answered. "I guess rumors were true that you were alive and have awaken your power within."

"A power that I never wished to have." You swirl your mug. "Although, I guess we can't always take back what the gods do to the most saddest human being that never belongs to both worlds of heaven and hell."

Cor hums and looks around the shop that Dante collects. "So where's the Devil Hunter been?"

"He's on a mission." You filled in. "Why?"

"You might not like what comes next...it's about our king."

"I already know. Regis did what he has to." You interrupted.

"No, I'm not talking about Regis. I'm talking about his son."

You huff and place your mug on the desk. "Well what a coincidence, I don't wanna deal with that trauma. "

"He's not what he was before."

"Heard that a million of times."

"Noctis hasn't been the same when you left-"

"And yet I don't wanna hear another word  about Noctis." You scowled cutting his words off. "I'm not the Glaive anymore Cor, I'm a Blade Runner. I'm just an assassin taking out demons."

Cor sighs and knows what you've been through, but he can't blame you for being upset with Noctis. "I do not blame you for being hurt because of him, but I came to tell you that the Crown City is not in good conditions."

"What do you mean?" You asked.

"Everyone was pleading him for food and he dismissed them automatically. They're not living well in the slums. There going to starve unless...."

"Unless someone steps in and challenge him to wake up and beat him to a bloody pulp?" You scoff. "Thanks, but no thanks. My day of serving the King is over. As you can see I'm own my own mission. And Ardyn is the only target that will end the bloodline of the Lucis."

"The Counselor?" Cor questions. "What does he have to do with anything."

"He claims to be Noctis' great, great blood brother before the Original King." You stated when you see Cor's confused expression.

"That's not possible."

You looked away and sharpen your black  sword. "Well believe it or not, he told me himself after he shot me in the heart. He was another Lucis and if I could learn more, I could find the Crystal and destroy it. I have a feeling that the Lucis family aren't nice people as they seem to be in the books of legend. Now if were done having a proper conversation, you should leave now or you can pay me money to hunt down the demons."
