The study of art history is concerned with objects created by humans for various purposes including spiritual, narrative, philosophical, symbolic, conceptual, decorative, and functional, with a primary focus on aesthetic visual form. The earliest art forms date back to prehistoric times with cave paintings that illustrated the daily lives and rituals of our ancestors. These paintings, made with rudimentary tools like animal bones, sticks, and charcoal, featured images of animals, humans, and abstract symbols.
Today, the art world is undergoing a renaissance, embracing both traditional and innovative approaches, from digital and street art to minimalism and abstract expressionism. Digital art, in particular, has become one of the most prevalent art styles, as technology increasingly influences the artistic landscape.
