Anne Frank had a diary she was given at the age of 13 she wanted to write to someone, so she named her diary Kitty. It has been translated into many different languages and is an important part of Germany's history. She wrote in it how life was growing up having to hide behind a wall. Despite recent 'knowledge', Anne left her diary at her home and did not take it to the camp.
