After being found out, Anne was sent to Bergen-Belsen, a concentration camp, and she saw many people being led to the gas Chambers in freezing rain. After Anne Frank's death, on April 15, 1945, the British forces liberated the camp. Anne Frank died in February 1945. She was buried next to her sister Margot, in a mass graveyard outside Bergen-Belsen. At the fence separating two parts of the camp, she met a new friend called Haneli. Anne Frank shall live on in memory for years to come.
