Taehyun woke up really early the next day, but that was out of habit. Afterall, he works on Saturdays.

But what made him smile was that his head was still laying on Soobin's chest, meaning Taehyun could feel his heartbeat and soft breathing; it was like warm music to his ears.

He snuggled close to him again, a content smile on his face.

At times like this, Taehyun wished time would stop, and he could permanently live in this moment. Close to Soobin, in his arms, listening to his soft breathing; Taehyun knew he could live like this forever.

Suddenly, Taehyun heard him stirring, and a low chuckle emitted from him.

"Clingy much, right?"

"Morning Soobin."

Soobin pecked his forehead daintily.

"Morning Tyun."

Taehyun tilted his head up so he could look at him properly.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked.

"Yes. You?"

"Mhm."

"That's good to know. I was worried that you may have had a nightmare."

"You would have woken up in the middle of the night if I did."

"Right."

Soobin ran a hand through his bedhead.

"What time is it?" he questioned, reaching for his phone on his night table.

He glanced at his screen.

"Oh, it's still 6:45."

"Sorry. That's when I usually wake up because of work."

"Well, work is off for you today."

"Why— oh yeah."

Soobin snorted.

"You forgot that there was a blizzard?"

"Yeah."

Taehyun sheepishly turned his face to the side.

"So, wanna get up? Since we're both awake?" he asked.

"If you're okay with it, then yes."

But they ended up still cuddling for a bit.

Soon enough, they both got up and headed downstairs for breakfast. Taehyun helped Soobin prepare some cereal bowls, and poured orange juice into two cups. They sat down to eat, listening to the radio, which was playing some nice jazzy music.

"What would you like to do today?" Soobin asked.

"Hmm?"

"The news station says that the streets won't be cleared until 10 am. So you're stuck here for a few more hours."

"Oh... well... I guess we can watch TV again?" Taehyun suggested, not having any other idea on what to do.

"Really? That's kinda boring."

"Then what do you want to do?"

"I thought we could go outside to our backyard and play in the snow."

This time Taehyun playfully snorted.

"Since when do you still play in the snow?"

"I may be an adult, but that does not mean I cannot play with snow."
