Ausha yawned deeply as she sat next to Newt, her eyes still clouded with tiredness,

"Good morning, Aussie." His usual smile made its way onto his face, "Are you ready for today?" The girl gave him a slight glare,

"Number one," She said holding up a single finger, "What in the shucks is that horrible nickname" Then proceeded to hold up another finger while speaking, "Number two, what's today?" She bit into her toast as Newt gave her an astonished face while raising an eyebrow,

"It starts with a 'G', once a month?" Ausha opened her mouth in an 'O' shape, physically slapping her forehead,

"Ahh yes that's right, Greenie Day" She smirked suddenly, "I did remember, just not a couple minutes ago!" Newt rolled his eyes when suddenly a blaring alarm echoed through the Glade. Ausha never enjoyed greeting the new Greenies as they would be scared out of their minds and always questioning, something that got on her nerves.

She waved at the boy as he raced towards the box that would not arrive for another thirty minutes before trudging back to the Medhut for another day of work.

Deep in the deadheads was a small pond that flowed with clear water surrounded by the trees. Ausha enjoyed her time aimlessly grazing the hearth, watching the ripples of water flowing ever so peacefully. This space was different than the busy Glade, it was quiet, a perfect mindscape to escape to.

Glancing around her, Ausha darted quickly toward the deadheads. Running had been a skill enjoyed but not used much by the girl as she quickly tired, a reason she had not become a Runner. Plants brushed past her body and twigs snapped underfoot as she slowed to a walk the deeper she seemed to edge into the forest.

The girl carefully slid off her shoes then, dipped her feet into the cool water, enjoying the tingly sensation that entered her body. Ausha didn't know how long she sat there before a rustle was heard behind her. Whipping her head around she was met with the face of a younger boy around the age of thirteen,

"What are you doing," He mumbled quietly. She had never seen him around the Glade before but then realized he must've been the newest Greenie. Ausha smiled at the boy,

"Just relaxing, care to join?" She motioned towards a spot next to her to which the boy responded with a small nod. He, also, took off his shoes before taking the spot next to her,

"Are you the only girl here?" The Greenie suddenly blurted out, his eyes widened at the realization of what he had just said but the girl only responded with a chuckle.

"Yes, I am" Ausha responded, a hint of amusement lacing her tone, "How are you enjoying the Glade, Greenie?" She asked, changing the topic. It took the younger boy a few moments to respond, his eyebrows furrowed slightly,

"It's alright," He said nonchalantly, "But it's scary." She nodded in understanding,

"It takes some time to get used to" Ausha remembered when she had first arrived, her first instinct was to go into fight or flight mode,
