Edenia's pov - in mount weather

Entering the facility felt like stepping into a different world, one filled with echoes of suffering and experimentation. The air was heavy with the weight of untold stories, a somber atmosphere that chilled me to the core.

Navigating the corridors, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, of unseen eyes following our every move. The memories of my time here flashed before me a reminder of the horrors I endured and so many others have as well.

Zelda and Louisa stayed close, their presence was a source of comfort amidst the deathly silence. We moved cautiously, searching for any clues that might shed light on the experiments conducted on me. We went in and out of exam rooms searching through files they kept on patients trying to find my own.

As we delved deeper into the facility, the walls seemed to close in, suffocating me with a sense of claustrophobia. Every bang or thump of us searching, every flicker of light, sent a jolt of adrenaline through my veins.

Finally, we reached an exam room which I vaguely remembered "this one" I say to my friends stopping them in their tracks "search in here"

The room was filled equipment, data logs and a metal bed of sorts with a cloth draped over it that I remembered all to well as the bed I was restrained to. I ignored my vivid flashback's and started to search through the cabinets and draws, my hands trembled as I sifted through the files, each document Being unsuccessful with telling me any information.

"What are we looking for Edenia?" Zelda's voice broke through the tension, her eyes reflecting a mix of concern and determination.

"Anything that can explain what they did to me" I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
"I need to understand." Louisa squeezed my shoulder "and will do everything we can to bring you those answers"

We searched for what felt like hours when in reality it was probably only half. The unorganised files made me feel sick when I red the contents, I'm not the only one that has had experiments done on them by Mount Weather. Other grounders have as well.

We knew before we invaded Mount Weather by the help of skikru informing us that Mount Weather were turning grounders into reapers to kill us.

But hearing these grounders lives and story's displayed on a file made me feel ill knowing they were once my people and were tortured and turned into weapons.

We are trying and succeeding with the majority of the reapers to turn them back into grounders thanks again to skikru. but it doesn't change the fact they went through all that trauma and grounders before them have died from these experiments and at the hand of other grounders trying to protect themselves.

"E-Eden" the shaky voice of Louisa brings me back into reality. I look over at her finding Zelda already gaze fixed on her with a clenched jaw adoring her golden brown face. In Louisa's hand was a beige coloured file with my name in bold letters with the number 1578 underneath it, indicating that this was mine.

I reach my hand out to Louisa grasping the file, staring at the front cover while my friends look at me in worry. Hesitantly I open the folder to find a picture of me while I was eating breakfast under a big tree wondering how in earth they took a picture of me without me knowing and the technology they must have as nobody's been able to take photos since before the world ended?

Turning over the page I see information written about me like how old I am, my gender, hair colour, eye colour etc. turning the page again I notice a man I've never seen before that was obviously part of Mount Weather. He looked maybe only about 18-20 and had blonde hair and blue eyes. I was confused wondering why this guys picture was in my file until I read the description underneath
