The next morning, Aubrie had made sure Nevaeh woke up bright and early so they could get a head start on their day.
"Why can't we just look around Madrid a little? I'm still too tired for a long ride," Nevaeh sat up in the bed they shared and complained. Usually she was the one to beg to leave Madrid in fear of Madridistas, but she never took a chance to really appreciate how beautiful the city was.
"I see right through you, Vaeh. You only wanna stay in hopes of finding Jude," Aubrie smirked, a 'told you so' look on her face. She sat up aswell, saying, "If you get ready fast enough we can spend a little time here."
Nevaeh giggled, "Thank you, Brie."
"Yeah. Who could say no to this cute face anyway?" Aubrie pinched one of Nevaeh's cheeks. There really would be no friendship like theirs.
