A day had passed, and Nevaeh was still in Texas. It was twelve in the afternoon and she was just now waking up. In her defense, her parents shouldn't have given her the most comfortable room in their house.
As Nevaeh explained in her Instagram comments, she was going back to visit Spain soon. It was like her second home, and she had gone back for weeks every summer. She loved travelling around Barcelona, taking in the sights of the city.
Aubrie was in the room straight across the hall, already getting her bag packed and ready for Spain. When she noticed her best friend wasn't awake nor ready, the girl sighed frustratedly. She walked across the hall, knocking on the door. When Nevaeh didn't answer, her knocking and impatience intensified.
"Nevaeh! Wake up, we have to go!" Aubrie shouted through the door, immediately waking the girl up.
"What time is it?" Nevaeh groaned, rubbing her eyes.
Aubrie looked at her phone and replied, "12:31. If you don't get your ass up, I'm calling Gavi to come do it."
Nevaeh sighed, rising from her pillow. "Getting up now."
