1998As Alexei stopped the car Melina immediately rushed out and opened the door of the back seat, rushing her daughters out of the car. They all took their things and as Cameron took care of something she turned around and saw her younger sister going to take some photos from the visor of the car.
"Come on, Nat", Cameron urged her with a sigh and they got out of the car while Nat put the photos in her pocket.
They all began running until they reached an hidden plane. Cameron stood by Natasha's side as the latter looked sadly at the photos in her hand.
"It's going to be okay", her older sister assured her with a supportive hand on her shoulder.
Then their father rushed to them and told them to get to the plane. They got inside and their mother told them to put on their seat belts while she went to the driver's seat.
"Why isn't dad in the plane?", Natasha asked confused.
"He's coming, baby. He's coming", Melina assured them as she started the plane. They started moving as they started hearing sirens approaching and Alexei immediately started shooting.
"Mom?", Cameron called her as she watched her father run beside the plane until he launched himself on the wing of the plane.
They watched with worry as he shot at the approaching cars. The people in the cars started shooting back and they hit the window of the plane where the girls were. Cameron immediately brought her sisters down and did her best to cover them. She would have always protected them, no matter what.
Suddenly, though, one of the bullets hit their mother and she groaned in pain.
"Mom!", the three sisters shouted worriedly.
"Cameron, you're the oldest. I need you to be a big girl and come up here", her mother told her weakly and she immediately stood up and sat beside her.
"I need you to pull right", Melina instructed and Cameron did as she said.
"Mom, there's blood on you", Cameron said worriedly, as she tried to keep her tears from streaming down.
"It's okay, baby", Melina assured her with a gasp of pain.
Suddenly Cameron saw a car coming straight towards them and she gasped.
"Mom, there's a car!", she shouted.
"Just keep going", her mother told her weakly. "Hit the accelerator there."
She did like her mother said when suddenly the cars became two and they started shooting at them.
"Hold it steady, hold it steady", Melina told her frightened daughter. "You're gonna pull back at 55 knots. Let's count together."
They began counting, the gunshots coming faster each second. Cameron started pulling back as her father finally managed to hit the cars.
"Pull back! You can do it!", Melina shouted at her. "Pull back. All your strength."
Cameron used all her strength and slowly the plane started flying. They all panted slightly as Cameron tried to steady the plane, tears streaming down her cheeks.
When they looked out of the plane they saw their father still holding onto the wing of the plane. They made it.
Cuba
Cameron slowly landed on an highway as they arrived in Cuba. There were soldiers there that immediately reached them as she stopped the plane. Alexei took Melina in his arms and brought her out, the three girls quickly following behind.
He placed her on a cot held up by soldiers. They placed her down on the ground and her daughters were immediately by her side.
"Get up, mommy", Yelena told her sadly. "Pain only makes you stronger, remember?"
Cameron and Natasha stood there silently, tears streaming down their cheeks.
"Прости меня, мама. Я боюсь", Natasha told her mother sadly.
(Forgive me mom. I'm scared)"Never let them take your heart", Melina told them weakly.
"Я тоже не могу потерять тебя", Cameron whispered to her trying to contain her tears.
(I can't lose you, too)Before she could say anything else a soldier pushed her and her sisters away.
"It's gonna be okay", Cameron told her younger sisters as she held them in her arms while their watched their mother being taken away.
"Mommy?", Yelena called her as she watched as the soldiers put her in the back of a big truck.
"Daddy!", Yelena shouted as she began running after the truck. A soldier grabbed her, though, and her older sisters immediately ran to her.
"Get away from her!", Natasha shouted and kicked the soldier's hand while Cameron took his gun and pushed her sisters behind her back before the soldier could grab them.
"Don't touch them! Я буду стрелять! трогайте их!", Cameron shouted angrily as she pointed the gun at the soldiers, her long purple dyed hair moving in the soft wind.
(I will shoot! Don't touch them!)"Honey. You're gonna need to hand me that gun", she suddenly heard Alexei tell her and she slowly lowered her gun as tears formed in her eyes.
"I don't wanna go back there", she slowly told him with soft sobs. "I wanna stay in Ohio, I wanna go back home. You can't take them. You can't. Yelena's only six."
"You and Natasha were even younger", Alexei simply told her as he slowly took the gun from her hands. "It's okay. Come here", he said and he slowly bent down in front of them. "You're gonna be all right. Do you know why it's gonna be all right? 'Cause my girls are the toughest girls in the world. You're gonna take care of each other, okay? And everything, everything's gonna be fine."
As he finished talking some soldiers approached the girls and pushed a siring in their necks and soon they were unconscious. They were brought inside a plane while Alexei went back to talk with the blonde man.
"That one, she has fire in her. Even the blue haired sister. What were their names?", the man, Dreykov, asked Alexei.
"Cameron and Natasha...", he slowly replied.
From that moment on their lives completely changed. Cameron never stopped protecting her younger sisters and she made a promise to herself that she always will, no matter what that was going to take.
