Red Room
2000

The wind brushed through the girls' hair as they ran fast through the woods. The first one of the three girls was fifteen and she had red hair. The second one was only eight, the youngest sister, and she had blonde hair. Finally the last one was sixteen, the oldest sister, and she had brunette hair.

The three sisters ran as fast as they could, looking back to see how far they were from the Red Room soldiers following behind them.

Suddenly they started hearing shooting and they quickly ducked down. Cameron, the oldest sister, immediately protected her younger sisters and spoke up.

"There!", she shouted pointing at a remaining wall of what looked like a destroyed building. The three sisters began running as fast as they could to the wall and when they reached it they hid behind it.

"Everyone okay?", Natasha, the second oldest sister, asked.

"Yeah", Yelena, the younger one, replied with a small and frightened voice.

The three girls had found a way to escape that hell. They had planned it from the moment they had been taken there two years earlier. They had to leave that place. So, that morning they had taken their chance and when the soldiers were momentarily distracted they escaped. This is why now they were being chased by those same soldiers through the woods just outside the hidden Red Room facility.

The three girls breathed heavily and closed their eyes as their hearts beat fast. They could hear the soldiers getting closer and closer. Until they heard them stop. They slowly looked at each other with furrowed brows.

"Are they gone?", Yelena asked with an hopeful voice.

All of a sudden the shots rang harder and closer than they were before. The three yelled in fear and they all ducked down once again, arms wrapped around each other.

"Get out and we will stop the fire!", they heard one of the soldiers shout with a thick Russian accent. The three sisters looked at each other, tears in their eyes. Their choice was to die or to go back there, and the first one was quite tempting than going back to that hell.

Natasha and Cameron looked at each other and a plan quickly formed in their minds. They knew it probably wasn't going to work but they had to try.

They slowly stood up, taking both one of Yelena's hands in theirs. They walked out and the soldiers all raised their guns at them while some of them began to slowly reach them. The three waited for the respective three soldiers to reach them and when they did they immediately grabbed them roughly and began to lead them back.

Cameron and Natasha looked at each other and nodded slowly before forcefully hitting the soldiers that were taking them. They began to fight, pretty easily taking out many soldiers. But then they began to recover and they became more and more and they couldn't do anything anymore.

The two older sisters were pushed on the ground and two soldiers stood above them as they took a taser. Yelena shouted in anger and in fear as she watched her sisters cry out in pain as they were being electrocuted.

After what felt like forever, the soldiers roughly brought up the two almost unconscious girls and began to drag them all back to the Red Room.

The three sisters stood beside each other, Natasha and Cameron still a bit weak. They stood in a dark room alone, except for the few soldiers inside. Suddenly they heard a door open and they felt their heart begin to beat faster.

A man walked inside the room, followed by a few soldiers. He was scary, his only presence sent chills down the girls' spines. He walked to them slowly and when he reached them he stood in front of them.

He slowly looked at the three sisters who were looking down, too afraid to look up at him.

"Whose idea was this?", the man, Dreykov, suddenly asked with his thick Russian accent.

"Mine", Cameron replied without hesitation. She slowly looked up and made eye contact with the man, almost daring him. Natasha and Yelena looked at their older sister with a confused look. They had all chosen to do this together, why was she taking all the blame?

Dreykov kept looking at Cameron, his scold changing into a scary smirk. Before Natasha or Yelena could protest he spoke up.

"Take these two back to their rooms", he instructed the soldiers as he kept looking at Cameron, pointing to Natasha and Yelena with his hand.

The soldiers began taking them away and the two tried to fight back, but it was no use as they brought them out the room. Before they were out Cameron made eye contact with them and just by that look they understood. She was always going to protect them.

"You know, you are one of the best here", Dreykov began telling her as he started pacing around the dark room. "You're different. You have this fire in you."

Cameron simply looked at him, pure hatred in her eyes as she tried her best to hide her fear. If she showed him her fear, she was done.

"And yet, you keep doing stuff like this. When will you learn? It's simple, really. You have to do what I say", he told her, his voice turning lower and angrier as he walked closer to her.

Cameron clenched her jaw and kept looking at him. Suddenly he brought up his hand, ready to hit her. Cameron immediately flinched and slowly opened her eyes when the hit never came. And then when she looked back at him a smirk formed in his face. In her eyes there was no more hatred and that fire, there was only fear.

"Take care of her". he simply ordered the soldiers and as they reached her she immediately tried to break free, but it was no use.

Dreykov watched with a sadistic smile as the soldiers beat up the poor girl. They kicked her, punched her, electrocuted her, until she could barely keep her eyes open.

When they finally stopped, she was left with the only wish to die. She groaned slightly as she tried to lift herself from the ground. Her own blood was covering the ground and when she tried to push herself up she let out a small cry of pain, only being able to lift the upper half of her body.

Dreykov slowly walked to her and when he reached her he crouched down at her level, the smirk still playing on her lips.

"Улыбнись, маленькая девочка", he told her in a whisper before standing up and heading to the door, leaving her there alone as she bled out on the floor of the dark room.
(Smile, little girl)
