Akansha's POV :-
I was woken up by the sound of rain, I loved rain a lot as a little kid, but now it just brings back memories that I don't want to remember anymore.
I got up from my bed and I looked at the time, I woke up a little earlier than usual. I went towards the bathroom to take a shower and I let the cold water run over me for a while. Then I put on some casual clothes and went down.
I saw my Bhai and dad eating breakfast, I hugged my dad and wished him a good morning. Bhai was already dressed in office attire.
"Uth gyi app maharani" he said, in a funny voice.
"Ji senapati, ab uth gye hai toh nashta bhi lagwa di jiye" I replied and it just irritated him more
Dad just kept left laughing at your silliness.
"Where is mumma ?" I asked sitting down at the dinning table.
"She got called in early for an emergency case" mr. Senapati ji replied
Oh the women she was, I was the most inspired by her and how she could leave everything for her work, her dedication towards her work played a major role in my life as I was motivated by her.
I ate my breakfast and went towards my room to get dressed, I put on something casual today, a pair of jeans and an oversized tee.
bidding my dad farewell, I started going towards my car, it was still raining, and the weather was cold, the soft breeze touched against my cheeks, and I shivered a bit, I ran towards my car and started driving towards my office.
I loved working, it kept me busy all day, so that I would not have to worry about the things that bothered me.
As soon as I reached I was pulled in a long hug by Ankita, she Is my soul sister if someone ever hurts her or even thinks about hurting her I wouldn't think twice before killing them. We both met in collage and it was an instant connection and since then we're inseparable. We even got an internship in the same company.
We talked for a bit and then got to work.
Our manager told us that we'll be going to different companies for 1 month and that they'll do your evaluation.
I was excited for it, since my childhood I liked being the best at everything and only God knows how much I love validation.
The day went in a hurry and it was time to go home, I said bye to my friends and started driving towards home.
The road was almost empty, my Bluetooth was connected to the car and suddenly "uff teri adda" started playing. I loved that song veryy muchh, so I started singing loudly, I was totally vibing when some idiot slammed his car into mine.
It wasn't a big crash as I was on the red light and I didn't get hurt too, but I had to teach that guy a lesson. So I got off the car and signaled him to get down too.
The guy was wearing a black t-shirt with pants, with his sleeves rolled up.
His arms looked perfect,
Oh how I wish he would cho....
"What are you thinking akansha ?get in line"my inner voice said to me.
"I'm really sorry"my chain of thoughts was broken as the guy in front of me apologized.
But I wasn't let him go like this.
"Gaadi chalani nhi aati toh road pe kyu nikalte ho." I legit screamed at his face
"Vo actually a dog came in front of my car so I had to suddenly go in your direction." He said in a calm yet heavy voice.
Before I could say anything, he said," I can pay for your expenses if you want."
There was something about his face I guess, it was a face you could not stay angry for a long time. Plus his arms were distracting me from the fact that he almost killed me.
"No it's ok, just be careful" I said and got back into my car.
As soon as I started driving again I noticed I had 5 missed calls from dad. Aaj toh gayi mein.
I reached home and as soon I entered I was greeted by an angry dad.
"Mujhe toh ye samjh nhi aata ki tum logo ke pass phone hai kyu agr tum log ek call nhi utha skte ho" he said in anger.
Now, how do I come up with a lie this quickly, because I cannot tell him that somebody crashed into me. If I told him that then he probably would not let me drive from tomorrow and send a driver with me, which I didn't want.
"I'm talking to you akansha" he said once again.
"Vo papa actually Aaj ek important meeting thi so I had my phone on silent ever since and forgot to turn it back on, I'm really sorry" I said the last part in a cheeky tone so that he would melt (hehe)
"Okay, but from next time if you don't pick up your from I'll directly come into your office"
"Promisee" I said and hugged him
Makhan lagane mein tih mein expert hun I thought to myself.
After a while I told him that we'll be going to different company for 1 month as a part of our job.
And went to my room skipping dinner.
I texted Ankita.

Nah, I'm fine. But the thing is, that guy looked so fine yr😭
Tere dimaag kharab hai kya, some guy almost killed you and you think he is fine??? Dude sometimes I think that you should get your head checked, it's surely defected
