Chapter two

   "Mum it's too soon".kelvin said
"Please can she go tomorrow morning".mum begged.
  "Okay we are going to be in-laws after all your daughter is beautiful".one of the men said.
  "Thank you".mum said and they left. That night kelvin and mum helped me pack my bag and theirs too. We prayed and slept together. I woke up early and then I waited for them they came at 8am and we left.
    We went straight to the airport and that's all I could remember because I slept off. I woke up to see myself in a very nice room. It was furnished well and clean. Just then the door opened a woman in a maid's uniform came in.
  "Miss you are awake,miss Olivia is waiting for you downstairs".She said in a foreign accent.
  "Okay".I said as I followed her downstairs the house was much more beautiful than I expected.
"She looks absolutely lovely".Miss Olivia said as she hugged me.
  "Thanks ma".I said smiling deep down I was anxious.
  "How are you,and hope you didn't face any troubles coming here".she said smiling.
  "I am fine and my journey here was splendid".I said
"Kate how old are you".she said I was suprised she knew my name.
  "I am seventeen".I said
"That's just great so my name is miss Olivia, I am sorry your husband is not around he is on a business meeting sign this".she said  as the maid handed me a document. It was a marriage certificate that was already signed by my husband and I signed it.
  "Child wear your ring and please don't take it off okay".she said and I wore the ring it was beautiful and shiny.
  "This looks really expensive".I said
"Of course it's diamond". She said I was so suprised
"That's by the way this Christine the house keeper and you have to prepare for your university entrance exams it was difficult to get the space. I got your credentials really late but it's a really reputable university".she said smiling
  "Thank you ma".I said smiling
"Okay then I will be on my way, Christine will handle the rest".she said and she left.I went back to my room. Christine brought me food and textbooks.
  "Thanks ma".I said as I collected the tray from her.
"It's fine miss Kate".she said smiling
"No it's not".I said
"Okay then let me get down to my duty post".she said and left. I opened the plate it was sausages and fried eggs. I ate very little because I had to read. I slept around 6am. I woke up at 8am because my exams was at nine. I quickly got dressed arranged my bed and went downstairs.
  "You look good". Christine said she had already made breakfast.
  "Thanks ma but I really late it's 8:30 already bye". I said I went to the garage my driver was already waiting for me he opened the back door but I insisted on seating at the front.
  "My name is Wilson miss".he said as he drove.
"Kate will just be fine mr Wilson".I said he was older than me.
  "But long when we are together I can call you Kate". He said
  "Okay no problem sir".I said smiling we got there on time I rushed into the hall.The exams lasted for two hours and I left.
       TWO WEEKS LATER........
  "Miss Christine so you really don't believe me". I said as I put the dishes in the dishwasher. We had already bonded.
  "I believe you".she said and she laughed.
"No you don't you are laughing".I said just then my phone beeped. Miss Olivia got me an iPhone 11 with an apple laptop and wristwatch. I checked it.
  "What's that".Christine said.
  "I got accepted,school starts tomorrow".I said as I hugged her.
  "Congratulations".she said
"Finally but I am sad that you will be all alone in this house when am gone". I said
"Come on I won't miss you".she said we talked till evening and I went to bed.I got up very early got dressed and I went to school.
  "So you won't let me drive".I said as Wilson drove into my school.
  "No accidents please".he said and I laughed
"But you have been teaching me for two weeks now". I grumbled.
  "I want to keep you safe".he said
"Fine brother".I said as I came out. I was walking in the hallway when I bumped into a girl and a boy.
  "Am so sorry".I said
"It's okay dear,my name is Sarah what's yours". Sarah said smiling
  "Kate".I said smiling.
"My name is french but I don't speak french". French said he looked cute.
  "I see you are married".Sarah said smiling as she looked at my ring.
  "That's nice when you meet the one you love you just get married".French said as he held my hand I flinched.
  "She is married you fool let her be".Sarah said.
  "It's diamond girl your man must be rich". French said smiling
  "You guys have known each other before".I said
"Yes she is my next door neighbor you major in politics".French said as we entered the big hall it was so big.it had enough Acs and it had a big projector instead of a chalkboard.
  "Wow this look good".I said french was still holding my hand.
  "Yes hall mark university is the best in the city let's sit and the front".he said smiling.
    We had back to back classes till 6pm just as we where about to leave. A handsome man walked into the class.his skin was hot chocolate, he had blue eyes, no beard he had a very low haircut which had sporty waves, he was neither fat nor slim he was just okay, but he had a stern look. It scared me
"Please sit down students, I won't take much of your time I have to Introduce this course". He said in a foreign accent he had a nice voice. We sat down.
  "My name is professor Jayden I will be taking you introduction to law and history.  I have two rules,no talking and no laziness I expect you to put in your maximum effort". He said and then he smiled. He taught us till 8pm and then he left.
  "Wow professor Jayden looks young for a professor". I said as we walked to the hallway.
"He is a G.O.A.T like he is very brilliant and smart he has won about two hundred awards,he has three degrees and a first class in each of them but he is too strict and his course is difficult,I don't know how am going to do this assignment".French said
  "He is handsome,I like him".Sarah said
" well he is too strict guys bye I have to run now ".I said I spotted the car.
  "Okay bye". They said.
  "I am sorry for being late we had an emergency class".I said as I entered the car.
  "It's fine so how was your first day". He said.
  "Well it was nice and I made two friends today". I said happily.
  "That's nice".he said
  Jayden walked weakly to his suite, he was so tired he went to shower immediately as he entered. He got dressed and came out to see Eric his best friend in the sitting room.
  "Man why are you here,I made a big mistake by giving you my spare key". He said as he sat down.
  "You know am your wife you can't go wrong with me, so I heard your mum got you married again that woman doesn't give up".Eric said.
  "No she doesn't and I don't really care,she will divorce me like the rest, I will stay here while my
mum will stay with the  woman she brought for me". He said as he opened the pizza box. His phone started to ring.
  "Good evening miss Olivia".he said
  "Jayden do you want me to die".she said
"Mum stop being dramatic,why do I have to put up with this".He said as he ate.
  "You are my only son I want the best for you okay". She said
  "Mum it have told you but you chose to be stubborn marry her then".he said as he opened the can coke.
    "Son please just listen to me okay for your dad's sake".she said and ended the call.
   "She has successfully blackmailed you right". Eric said as he drank from Jayden's coke.
  "Man can you please just leave me alone".Jayden said but Eric placed his head on his laps.
  "I am tired okay please let me sleep I had an hectic day".Eric said calmly.
"I am not your mother okay".Jayden said but his friend was already asleep.
    I was busy with my assignment when Christine came in with food.
  "You  are spoiling me". I said smiling
  "I haven't even spoilt you enough okay now please eat something you don't have to stress yourself". She said as she opened the plates.it was fried rice and turkey.
  "I resist all temptations".I said smiling as I picked up the spoon I prayed and ate.
  "You like it right".she said smiling.
"I love it".I said she left 30minutes later. I finished my assignment at 12pm took my plates downstairs, washed it and went back to bed.
   I woke up late and I hurriedly got dressed . Wilson called in sick, so I took a cab. I got to school late  when I got to class some people where outside Luckily I saw French and Sarah.
  "Guy am sorry am late but what's happening".I said calmly.
  "Professor Jayden is checking the assignment individually I really hate him"French said as he held my hand again.
  "French why do you like holding my hands".I said
"Girl they are soft".he said
  "Stop hating on him okay he is okay".Sarah said smiling. It got to our turn I didn't know French was still holding my hand.
   "What's this". Professor Jayden said as he glared at us.
  "Sorry sir".French said as he let go of my hands we gave him our assignments.
  "Next person". He said French held my hands again in front of the class. We walked to our seat. We had back to back classes as usual. Our classes ended at 7pm. French and Sarah stayed behind for tutorials but I was too tired so I took a cab home. I noticed a strange car when I walked into the compound. As I entered the house I saw professor Jayden eating on the dining table.
  "Professor".I said and he turned.
  "What is she doing here".he said in shock
"She is your wife sir".Christine said
