╰┈➤ ❝ [ᵖʰᵃⁿᵗᵒᵐ ⁿᵒⁱˢᵉˢ ʳᵉᵛᵉᵃˡᵉᵈ] ❞THE GROUP OF seven had worked together to move the couch in front of the door and were now scattered around the room in silence, all failing to process everything that had just occurred within the past couple of minutes that had honestly felt like an hour. Kaia was huddled up in the corner, the pole she had ripped from the wall resting on the ground between her and Ashlyn, who was sat beside her, leaning against the wall.
Then Aiden and Ben were sat in front of her side by side as they were leaning against the wall as well. Kaia hadn't really stopped looking at the room around her since she sat down, she couldn't find it in her to relax at all. Everything was happening so fast, everything she had once known being turned upside down and it was making her feel sick to her stomach as the previous adrenaline that had pumped through her veins faded away.
What was happening? Why was it happening to her? Did she just kill one of them?
She glanced towards her pole, frowning a bit as she realized it was just as clean as it had been when she first grabbed it. There wasn't any source of residue that showcased the fact she had stabbed one clean through it's neck. Plus thinking back on it, why didn't it scream? Had she penetrated the monster's vocal box? But if that was the case, why didn't Aiden's monster scream? It looked like it wanted to, it looked like it was, yet no noise was coming from it's parted mouth.
