Matt POV
Me, Chris, Nick, and Y/N are going to the mall. Y/N seemed a little tired today, so when we were waiting for our food, I moved her away from my brothers to talk to her.
"Did you take your iron supplements today?" I asked.
"No, I forgot." She sighed. "I forgot yesterday, too." She admitted.
"Y/N, you should be at home then." I sighed.
"But we made plans yesterday, I don't want to ruin them." She said, I grabbed her hand.
"They would understand if you told them." She shook her head. She doesn't like telling people about her iron deficiency unless she has to.
"Ok, tell me if you wanna go home." She nodded, and we joined the others.
We got our food and finished eating, we started walking around to different stores, and I noticed Y/N struggling to keep up. Nick and Chris were in their own conversation, so I brought it up.
"Y/N slow down," I told her. She shook her head.
"I'm fine," she said shortly.
"Don't walk so fast." I tried again.
"But Nick hates slow walkers." She sighed.
"He won't if it's you." I tried to explain.
"I'm good," she said. I sighed, knowing she's not gonna listen. If she uses all her energy, she's gonna pass out.
We went into a shoe store cause Nick wants new shoes.
We were following him around, and I saw Y/Ns eyes get heavy, I slightly led her to a corner of the store. Nick and Chris followed, confused. She suddenly passed out, I caught her sitting against a wall with her in front of me.
"What the fuck?" Chris said confused.
"Did she just pass out?" Nick asked, I nodded.
"Why are you so calm?" Chris said, slightly freaking out.
"Shes ok," I said, trying to calm their nerves. They still looked scared.
"She has an iron deficiency. She forgot to take her supplements and used all her energy." I explained.
"Why did we not know that?" Nick asked.
"She doesn't like telling people cause some people say she uses it to get attention." They nodded in understanding.
"How long till she wakes up?" Chris asked.
"10 minutes to an hour." I informed them. They nodded and sat down, knowing they could be there for a while.
"Why are you holding her head like that?" Nick asked, with his head tilted. Referring to how I'm holding her head up by her neck.
"If I don't her neck gets sore."
"Why not lay her down?" He asked.
"She feels more normal when she wakes up sitting up. And if she's lying down when she wakes up, the lights hurt her eyes." I continued explaining.
We sat and waited as they continued asking questions. After about 20 minutes, I felt her move slightly. I moved my hands from her neck, so she doesn't feel suffocated, and rested her head back into my neck. A couple seconds later, she lifted her head, looking around. She rested her head on me again and sighed.
"I passed out."
"Yeah," I nodded, wrapping my arms around her waist. After a couple minutes, she lifted her head again.
"I think I can get up now." She said. I stood behind her and pulled her up, giving her a minute to stableise herself before we started walking, Nick and Chris followed. We walked slowly, my arm around her waist, helping her.
We walked to the car, climbing in and going home.Once we reached home, I went to her side of the car and picked her up bridal style, carrying her inside to bed. I set her down, then went back downstairs and got her some water.
I came back and saw her on her phone, tears streaming down her face.
"What's wrong?" I asked, setting the water down and rushing over to her.
She handed me her phone. It was a video of her at the shoe store.
"I'm so sorry, love." I sighed, pulling her close to me. I held her until she fell asleep. I made an announcement, explaining everything and asking them not to make a big deal out of it. Once I was done, I kissed her cheek, holding her tightly.
