Nate POV

I went to Y/Ns room, and my smile faltered as I saw Jerry laying in her lap.
Jerry is her cat. I hate him. He's a spoiled brat and always distracts her from me.
"Hey, Nate," she said sweetly.
"Move it, Jerry, she's mine." I said, crossing my arms.
"Don't speak to my baby like that!" She gasped, petting him.
"But I'm supposed to be your baby." I pouted.
"You're my second baby."
"He comes before me!" I yelled offended.
"Maybe if you were nicer to him, you could be first." She said.
"He's mean to me." I countered.
"No he's not. He's perfect." She kissed his head.
"Look," I pet his head, and his eyes opened. He saw me and started growling.
"He's a bitch." I said poking him. He hissed at me.
"Jerry," Y/N called, petting him. He imedietly calmed and started purring, looking up at her.
"You are the cutest thing I've ever seen!" She squealed.
"I'm cute," i frowned.
"Not as cute as him," she gushed, holding  his face. I grabbed him and put him on the ground before he could scratch me.
"Hey!" She protested, reaching for him. I blocked her way.
"Why do you love your cat more than me?" I asked, slightly hurt.
"I love you equally," she said, standing up.
"That's fucked up." I shook my head.
"Are you seriously jealous of a cat?" She giggled.
"Yes!" I followed her to her kitchen.
"That's ridiculous." She rolled her eyes.
"Fine," I went back to her room and looked at all her stuffed animals.
That one. Gerard. He's a weird dinosaur type of thing. Also one of her favorites. I layed on her bed and held Gerard to my chest. She came back and looked extremely confused.
"What are you doing with Gerard?" She asked.
"Loving him." I replied, cuddling into him more. She looked at me weird and layed next to me.
"Brooklyn 99?" She asked, I nodded. She turned it on and we watched for a while. She moved to me and tried to cuddle. I moved over and held Gerard. She sat up and looked at me, but I kept my eyes on the TV. She layed back down and tried again, I moved farther away to the edge of the bed. She huffed, looking mad and confused. A couple minutes later, she tried again. I had no more room to move, so I got up and sat in her beanbag chair, with Gerard in my lap.
"What are you doing?" She yelled over to me.
"What?" I said innocently, watching the show.
"Why won't you cuddle me?" She asked, looking over the edge of her bed.
"I'm cuddling Gerard." I said, holding him tighter.
"Why?"
"Because I love him." I said, hiding my smirk.
"More than me?" She asked, I looked over to her.
"I love you equally." She rolled her eyes as she realized what I was doing.
"Oh my god. You're the most dramatic person I've ever met." She groaned, flopping back.
"Don't worry, you're my second baby." I continued, she crossed her arms.
We stayed like that for hours until she gave in.
"Will you come cuddle?" She pleaded.
"If you say it I will." I said, holding Gerard.
"I'm not saying it." She said firmly. I nodded, looking back to the TV.
We kept it up until night. I was fighting back sleep.
"Ok, goodnight, Gerard. I love you." I said, kissing his head. I cuddled onto the chair and held him tightly, closing my eyes.
"Are you serious?" She sighed. I continued, sleeping.
"Oh my lord. Fine!" I opened my eyes. She was sitting up facing me. I raised my eyebrows.
"I love you more than jerry." She admitted, with a scowl.
"Ah, there it is!" I cheered. I stood and threw Gerard in the corner with her other stuffed animals.
"No need for him anymore." I turned off the light and layed down.
"Come here, baby." I opened my arms, and she climbed into them sighing happily.
"You're a stubborn bitch." She mumbled, drifting to sleep.
