Helloooo! Sorry for the lack of chapters lately, I got lazy 😭 ALSO 735 READS?! TY SM YALL <3 anyway, enjoy! -Rocky

Next day came and went. It was a Friday afternoon. Adam's wounds are healing slowly but surely. He warmed up to you. He told you fake stories of how he ended up in hell to try keep his cover. It was very believable, so much that you began to trust him a lot despite all your friend's accusations and warnings.

Since it was Friday, it was game night. The Vees all had fun on Fridays. You did all sorts of things, movies, sleepovers, games etc.
Vox was hosting this week's game night so he would end early and ask one of the others to help. He asked you.

You told Adam what was going on and he confirmed that he would be ok for a while alone, until you helped. You'd try convince Vox to let Adam join. You made your way to Vox's floor and waited for him to answer.

*Meanwhile with Adam*

Adam made sure you left for good before he attempted to get up. His wings hurt like hell but he hasn't allowed you to preen them or even look at them. He folded them before he started walking cautiously around the huge space you had as your living room. He wanted to find out why you seemed so familiar to him.

He walked up to a table where there were some photos of you with the Vees. You seemed quite happy with them. He wondered how bad these people actually were if you all seemed so happy with eachother. But obviously this was hell and no one here is good. Might as well only be allies and all this happiness came from self gain from one another.

He saw random pictures of you but none told him who you were. You just looked like.. yourself at the moment. He took the pictures one by one and turned them round, maybe there was another side. None of them were double sided except for one.

...

His eyes windened as he stared at the picture. You were alone in the picture, you were in the heaven sky flying, your wings spread when the picture was taken, your halo glowed even in the picture. "So they are an angel... That's where I know them from.. I guess it's easier to trust you know..." He thought to himself as he stared at the picture. Yes sure, you were his enemy up in heaven. The scraps between you were so entertaining it was the talk of the town for years. But right now, this wasn't heaven. And he needed your help.

He knew that your friends accused him of being exactly who he was. Adam, the first man. He was lucky you believed his lies. But he didn't know how long his lies would last.

*With you and Vox*

You were helping vox set up the snacks at the moment and decided to bring up Adam since Vox seemed remotely calm.

"Vox, can we have Adam join us for today, I can't leave him unsupervised for too long." You said with an innocent tone but Vox stopped in his track.

"Absolute not." He said sternly.

"But why?"

"Because I don't trust him!" Vox glitched a bit.

"Then we should try trust exercises!" You said happily.

"You're starting to sound a lot like the Morningstar girl." He said in a monotone voice

"How come?" You ask

"She's all about the 'LEt'S tRy tRuST eXerCisEs' and kindness and shit." He said in a mocking tone.

"How would you know that?"

"I have cameras everywhere."

"Oh yeah I forgot"

"Of course, you forget everything" he side eyed you.
