Alison's P.O.V.

Derek sat with me on the bed here in the hospital holding our baby boy who Derek has named Dylan. Dylan was asleep with his head resting in Derek's chest. I laid my head gently on his shoulder as he smiled at Dylan. The time was bearing close to three in the morning and after two hours of trying to give birth to Dylan he was born at one twenty six am. I looked up to meet Derek's eyes and he smiled a goofy smile at me. I laughed a little before shaking my head.
"Your so weird." I spoke with a smile and he kissed my forehead gently.
"But you love me." He spoke quietly in a whisper so he wouldn't wake Dylan.
"Who says?" I spoke with a raised eyebrow with a small laugh making him chuckle.
"If you didn't love me you wouldn't have married me. Plus who wouldn't love this?" He spoke wiggling his eyebrows making me smile at his dorkiness.
"Okay you got me there." I spoke with a smile and he smiled before looking down at Dylan.
"I can't wait till he gets a little older. He's going to follow in my footsteps. He will be one of the best hockey players out there." He spoke with a smile and I touched Dylan's cheek gently wiping a small eyelash off of his cheek.
"Hopefully he will just learn to stay on his feet." I spoke making Derek chuckle a little.
"I do. Sometimes." He spoke shrugging his shoulders lightly.
"What happens if he plays goalie?" I asked catching his attention.
"My hopes is that he will play anything but goalie. But if goes after that position I will have uncle Henrik come and give him some pointers." He spoke with a smile and I smiled a little.
"I will support him for whatever he decides." He spoke with a small nod and the door to the room opened slowly. In walked a nurse with a smile on her face.
"How are mom and dad?" She asked standing at the foot of my bed.
"Tired." I spoke pushing a piece of my hair out of my face.
"That is completely normal. Well why don't you try to rest did you need any more medicine for the pain?" She asked and I nodded my head lightly.
"I will be right back with it. It might have a side affect of sleeping so it could benefit you." She spoke with a light smile and I nodded my head. She quickly left the room and Derek looked over at me.
"I am going to put him in his little bed so he can sleep." He spoke quietly and I nodded my head before kissing Dylan's head gently. Derek climbed off of the bed slowly and walked over to the small bed type thing sat. He laid Dylan down slowly in his bed before kissing his forehead gently. The nurse walked back into the room carrying a small medicine cup and she handed me it. I poured the two pills into my hand before swallowing them quickly. I handed her the small medicine cup and she thanked me.
"Get some rest. I will check in shortly to check on baby Dylan." She spoke with a smile as she walked out of the room. Derek climbed back onto my bed and he smiled at me.
"What?" I asked in a yawn and he shrugged his shoulders.
"I can't believe we have a baby. A mix between the both of us. I'm so proud of you." He spoke as I laid my head on his chest and I smiled a little.
"I couldn't have done it without you. You supported me threw it." I spoke quietly feeling my eyelids grow heavy.
"I love you Alison." He spoke quietly kissing my forehead.
"I love you too Derek." I spoke quietly.

Authors Note: I hope you like it! Thoughts on the Blackhawks trade with Columbus? Sorry for the hawks losing a key player but don't forget the Jackets also lost a lot of good players. So I hope Chicago treats them well. Especially my baby Dano :(
