I watched as he sat my vanity opening drawer after drawer looking at all the different make up I owned. He looked at each piece like it was a weird object he has never seen before. I stood in the doorway watching as he looked at each one. He picked up a tube of mascara then a eyeshadow palate looking at them before placing them back in the rightful places. I walked over to where he sat on my stool and I wrapped my arms around his neck as he held a few make up brushes in his hand.
"Having fun?" I questioned as he stared at a eyeliner pencil for a few seconds.
"Yeah. How come their is so many?" He asked with a questioning look as he pulled out seven different types of mascaras from the drawer.
"Why do you have so many pairs of shoes?" I asked with a straight face as I sat on the edge of the bed which was close to where he sat.
"Because all of my shoes are made differently." He spoke with a straight face as he stared at me.
"That's why I have so many mascaras." I spoke with a shrug and he smiled.
"Hannah, I have a question." He asked with a straight face and I smiled a little.
"What's up?" I asked and he shrugged his shoulders lightly before looking at me.
"Could I try doing your make up?" He asked with a light smile.
"Why so?" I asked with a smile.
"Because you make it look so easy to put on. Please?" He asked dragging out the e.
"I guess so." I spoke with a smile and he smiled before standing up.
"Sit." He spoke with a smile as he motioned to my stool and I nodded my head.
"Yes sir." I spoke as I got up and walked over to my stool before sitting down. He pulled out everything from eyeliner to lipstick and eyeshadow to brow pencils. I sat ready as he continued to pull more and more things out. He sat on his knees in front of me as my back was facing the mirror.
"Close your eyes. I have to do my magic." He spoke with a small laugh and I laughed a little.
"Whatever you say Ty." I spoke with a smile and a few moments of silence passed as no words were spoken. I felt the coldness of something being applied to my lips. It couldn't be lipstick but I won't question it. After that he applied a few things to my eyelids before adding a few things here and there.
"I don't think I did that right." He mumbled under his breath and I tried to hide my smile. "Okay befire you get mad at how bad it looks I at least tried. But you can look now." He spoke quietly making me open my eyes. I turned around looking into the mirror. My first reaction was that I was speechless. It was way better than I would have ever thought he'd do. I smiled and looked at him.
"Ty this is really good." I spoke and he looked confused.
"No like look at your lipstick. Half of it is not even on your lips." He spoke shaking his head and I smiled.
"Like look at my eyeliner. That is like spot on." I spoke looking back into the mirror. He laughed a little as he looked into the mirror.
"You are joking right?" He asked and I shook my head.
"No I'm being for real. I should tell my friends so you can do theirs too." I spoke with a smile reaching for my phone. He reached over my shoulder taking the phone right from my hands.
"No can do. My technique is once in a lifetime kind of thing." He spoke with a straight face.
"Fine but if I need it done for a dinner party I'll make sure you do it." I spoke with a smile and he smiled.
"Really?" He asked with a smile.
"Of course. My eyeliner is like perfect Ty." I spoke with a smile.
"Fine but no promises it won't look bad or anything." He spoke with a straight face and I nodded my head.
"Yes sir." I spoke as I stood up slowly.
"Now I have one last question." He spoke with a straight face.
"And what's that?" I asked and he looked confused.
"Now who's the one buying all of the make up?" He asked with a smile and I smiled a little. I stood up and wrapped my arms around his chest.
"Did I ever mention my eyeliner looks good?"
