Lauryn's P.O.V.

The thoughts ran threw my head one after another as I glanced back down at the stick that sat in my hands. Positive. A cold chill ran up my spine and a wave of nervousness ran three me. On how to tell him, I don't know. The clatter of the front for opening and closing snapped me out of my thoughts. I slid the stick into my pocket of my sweat pants in hopping on trying to hide it from him. He'd find it sooner or later. I walked out of the bathroom connected to our bedroom and I walked out into the dimly lit room. The time bearing close to almost midnight due to his game tonight. Boston won 7-2 over the Toronto Maple Leaves. I couldn't attend the game because I got off from work late so I watched from home. I quickly laid down on the bed covering up in the blankets just sitting up right so my back was against the head board. Reilly's footsteps got a little louder as he walked down the hall. I bit my lip and I ran a hand threw my hair. The bedroom door opened slowly and Reilly entered the room slowly. He had a smile on his face as he walked over to me where I sat on the bed. He leaned forward kissing my lips gently and I kissed his chapped lips. When I pulled away I pulled him into a hug. He sat down on the edge of the bed holding me in his arms.
"Reilly." I spoke quietly resting my head on his shoulder lightly.
"Hmm?" He asked letting go of me slowly looking me in the eyes. The light from the lamp cascading shadows on his face.
"We have to talk." I spoke quietly making his face drop a little.
"What's wrong? Did I do something?" He asked making me smile a little.
"No honey. I think it's almost time to move somewhere you know a real house? I don't think we can live with Patrice any longer." I spoke rubbing my thumb lightly over his cheek bone wiping away a small water droplet from his damp hair.
"Why I thought you liked it here?" He asked a little confusedly taking my hand in his.
"We'll I do not think he'd want to be awake at night-"
"I'm confused." He spoke shaking his head and I laughed lightly.
"Reilly I'm trying to tell you that I'm pregnant. Patrice isn't going to want a small kid running around here." I spoke as I laughed threw my words as he raised his eyebrow.
"So your telling me that I'm going to be a dad?" He asked and I nodded my head no emotion was on his face. I pulled the test from my pocket putting it on the blanket in front of us.
"We're going to be parents Reilly aren't you excited?" I asked as I felt my stomach drop a little and he had a small smile on his face.
"I'm going to be a dad." He breathed out with a smile on his face. "If we have a little boy he's playing hockey." He spoke with a smile and I kissed his cheek lightly.
"Whatever you say." I spoke with a smile and he nodded his head.
"We're going to be parents." He spoke a little louder with a sing song voice. I smiled at how excited he was. He stood up walking to the door and he ran down the hall.
"Patrice!! I'm going to be a dad!!" He yelled happily making me smile as he ran back into the room.
"Reilly it's not Aprils fools don't kid me!" Patrice spoke running into the room with a confused expression.
"I'm not kidding. I'm going to be a dad see." He spoke picking up the test showing Patrice.
"We'll congratulations you two." He spoke with a smile and Reilly smiled.
"I'm going to be a dad." Reilly spoke with a smile. I smiled looking at him. He is going to be such a good father.
"I love you Lauryn." He spoke running over to me kissing my forehead.
"I love you too Reilly." I spoke with a smile.
