Your P.O.V.
I sat in one of the various seats here at the Hawks game in the United Center. Where I was sitting was in on of the club seats kind of away with people but still had a good view of center ice. Sitting next to me was (daughters name) wearing Marcus's jersey with her brown hair pulled back in pigtails that he did before he left earlier for the game.
"Go hawks go!" She chanted along with the crowd before watching the ice for Marcus. I smiled as I looked back at the ice and Marcus skated around passing the puck from one player to the next. The game was already in her another overtime and by the looks of it (daughter name) wasn't even tired. The team moved up the ice to the Nashville goal the puck passed from someone to Marcus and then bam. The puck dug threw finding the back of the net and the arena all at once cheered.
"Go daddy!!" She yelled standing up jumping up and down with a smile. "Can we go see daddy now?" She spoke and I nodded my head picking her up. She let out a small yawn as she laid her head on my shoulder. I picked up my purse and I walked to the door leading into the hallway. A security guard stood there in his yellow shirt and sunglasses over his eyes.
"I need an escort down to the locker rooms." I spoke looking at him and he nodded his head before showing me the way. When we got down to the locker room the hallway was filled with cheering and yelling. Joel spotted us and walked slowly up to us.
"Congrats on the win." I spoke and he smiled lightly.
"First of many. Marcus scored the game winner." He spoke and (daughters name) smiled before saying 'go daddy' quietly. "Do you want to go see daddy? I'm about to talk to him." Joel spoke and she smiled and I nodded my head. I sat her down on her feet and she took Joel's hand as they walked slowly into the locker room. I walked slowly behind them and I stood in the door way as I watched her and Joel walk up to Marcus. Many people stopped and patted her lightly on the back or commented on her jersey. She had a huge smile on her face and I saw Teuvo walking my way slowly.
"She's so cute. She looks so much like Marcus." He spoke standing next to me looking at Marcus as he held her in his arms. Joel stood in the front of the room and Teuvo scurried off to his locker and Marcus looked at me from where he sat across the room. He smiled at me and I smiled at him and (daughters name) waved at me. I waved back and she went to say something and I put my index finger to my lips. She nodded her head before taking Marcus's hand in hers as he listened to what Joel had to say.
"Now as I hold the belt. It's kind of easy to chose who gets it. Congrats Marcus." Jonathan spoke holding the belt over his shoulder as he walked over to him and Marcus stood up slowly holding her in his arms. He took the belt with a smile and everyone clapped.
"I just want to say thank you and I could hear go daddy go from where you were sitting." Marcus spoke looking at (daughters name) and she smiled. Everyone clapped once more before Joel dismissed everyone. I walked across the room to Marcus and he smiled. I kissed his lips gently before pulling away quickly.
"Congrats honey." I spoke patting his back gently and he smiled.
"Thank you. Give me ten minutes or so and I will see you at home." He spoke as I picked up (daughter name).
"No daddy ride with us." She pouted and Marcus frowned a little.
"Sorry honey but I have to change and I won't be long I promise." He spoke quietly and she nodded her head lightly with a frown.
"When you get home your reading my bedtime story." She spoke hugging him as I held her and he hugged her gently.
"No problem. Be good for mommy." He spoke before kissing the crown of her head and she nodded her head.
"Be careful." I spoke quietly before kissing his cheek and he nodded his head.
"You too. I love you." He spoke with a smile before kissing my forehead.
"I love you too." I spoke with a smile before walking towards the door so I could get home.
