The Enemy

Chapter 14

i dodge the puke bowl, bursting my way through the medjacks door. minho noticed me escape, he sped walked up to me and stood in my way. "you're awake."
i grunt through my teeth. "and pissed." minho shook he head.

i pushed my way past him, i saw jenna fiddling with gally as usual. i've never ran as fast before.

as soon as i approached her, i shouted her name. her eyes shook and widened, she took off running.

i cackled at her, following her on her tail, keeping her with her pace, but much quicker. "when i catch you i'm going to fucking kill you!"

minho was right behind me, it only made me want to fuck her up even more.

i managed to reach up to her, one small push flung her to the floor. i fall ontop of her, straddling her stomach. i pin her arms down with my legs, getting me a clean slate to punch her face, she screamed loudly.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" i yelped, giving her another punch.

minho grabbed both my arms, holding them behind my back. everyone crowded around her, trying to break up the fight.

minho had managed to pull me off of her. she was crying with her bloody nose, it looked like it was broken from a distance.
alby held out his finger at me. "what are you playing at ella?!"

i groan, trying to pull my way out of minhos grip, i wasn't successful. "SHE PUT WEED IN THE COOKIES, BASICALLY POISONING ME AND CHLOE!" i spat.

alby wispily turned towards jenna now holding his finger towards her. "where did you even get that weed from jenna?!"
she groaned, holding her nose. the tears were sweeping down her face, swelling her eyes. "THEY'RE FROM THE WOODS, ALRIGHT? GROW A PAIR ELLA!"
"PLUS. IT WAS ALL TERESA'S IDEA!"

everybody stopped to stare at teresa who was carelessly hiding herself in the corner of the boys, she held up her hands like a vigilante. "fine, the weed cookies were my idea. but i didn't know she would give them to ella and chloe! this was something between me and jenna!"

jenna rolled her eyes, wiping the blood off of her nose. everyone was detecting everyone's statements whilst i was still determined to beat the living shit out of jenna for being such a backstabbing slut faced whore.

chloe joined the circus by breaking the silence and laughing at what had just happened. she claps at her knees. "whatever just happened. i'm on ella's side completely."

alby yelled like he's never yelled before. "I WANT ELLA, JENNA, CHLOE, TERESA AND MINHO TO THE MEETING ROOM. NOW!"

minho groaned, letting me go. "why me?"

with his grasp let go i take another swing at jenna, knocking her the fuck out. i laugh as i'm pulled back by minho again. "jesus ella. you already got her alright?"

alby gave me a stare that i only see in nightmares, he was still stuck pointing towards the meeting room in which we go to.

jenna was quickly taken to medjack, she doesn't deserve treatment.

i fold my arms as i've calmed down.

alby sighed, rubbing his temples. "can somebody PLEASE tell me what has happened here?"

i take a step forward. "jenna gave me and chloe cookies this morning. me and chloe had a couple of cookies and they had cannabis in them so obviously we both got high unintentionally.
chloe passed out and i greened out. so then on a rage path i stormed up to jenna and beat her up. get it?"

alby sighed, turning to chloe. "is that right?"
chloe nodded her head, happy as ever. "from what i can remember, yes."
alby then turned to teresa standing almost too innocently with her arms folded. "is that right as wel teresa?"

teresa stood silently for a good few seconds before nodding in agreement. my eyes leered at her like a hawk. that bitch has got to play into this somehow.

alby then placed his hands together, letting out an exhale. "then it's settled. jenna will get her punishment as well as you ella."

i turn towards alby in a pit of disbelief. "are you shitting me right now? i'm getting punishment for getting drugged?!"

his dark eyes pierced my soul and not in a good way. "well, ella. you did punch her in the face and knocked her out. it's immoral for you NOT to get some kind of punishment."

i rolled my eyes with annoyance. "you what is immoral. drugging someone. IN FACT. it's illegal."

alby clenched his jaw, pointing towards the door. "leave so the others gladers can discuss the punishments and send them in."

i move towards the door speechless, minho and chloe follow me. i watch teresa walk away. "if your little bitch ever does that again, she going to get more than a broken nose from me."

teresa looks at me then walks away with an attitude:
"what a bitch." i spit.

newt, gally, frypan, minho and some other gladers all walk into the meeting hut. alby stood sternly looking over the boys.

"you guys witnessed what went on this afternoon, so tell me your opinions." alby moved him way to the edge of the room.

gally was the first one to step up. he cleared his throat, his face was obviously annoyed. "ella had a clear violations of the rules by hurting another glader, she should receive the great punishment."

minho stepped up angrily, immediately turning down the decision. "we're NOT sending her into the maze, are you MAD?!"

alby held out his hands. "let him speak minho."
minho pulled a disgross expression. "you really think that's a good idea alby?!"

gally interrupted minho, speaking the all the boys. "by the look of what ella has done to us the past few months. she's basically the only one who's been breaking the rules and barely taking any accountability for her behavior. we shouldn't give her the benefit of the doubt just because she's a girl, it's sexist."

minho scoffs at his sentence. everyone around him also seemed to side with minho, but alby looked on the fence.

"and lastly what jenna did isn't going against any rules we've established."
