You woke up from a loud shrieking voice of Sokka. You jerk up from your sleeping bag interrupting your beauty sleep. "Who the heck awoke me from my slumber?" You said with a threatening voice as you look at Sokka and Momo.
"Momo put his hands inside my mouth." Sokka said with an irritated look at the lemur. Everyone began to wake up feeling the ground slightly move as heavy steps.
Sokka's outburst attracts the attention of a mounted Fire Nation military unit known as the Rough Rhinos, who surround them. "Give up. You're completely surrounded." All of you jolted in your beds hurrying your way towards Appa leaving the sleeping bags, forgetting about the important stuff.
As Katara was about to get in Appa she stopped her tracks and looked back. "My scrolls!"
"My staff!" You and Aang simultaneously shouted.
"My fans!" Miu shouted, too.
Katara and Aang take advantage of their bending abilities and retrieve their desired possessions. Miu dodges every attack they give her and retrieves her fans and your staff. "Whoo, that was a close one. Luckily the fans you gave me are attached to my hip." You pointed it out as Miu gave your staff back.
But there is one more thing missing that is important for Sokka. "Wait my boomerang!"
"There's no time!" Katara shouts but his brother is mad for not getting his boomerang. "Oh, I see. So there's time to get your scrolls, time to get your staffs, and time to get your metal fans, but no time for my boomerang?" sarcastic and upset, Sokka looks like he was about to cry for losing his boomerang. "That's correct." Katara simply says which made Sokka even more devestated.
"I should've gotten your boomerang Sokka, I guess I was too preoccupied with my fans and Y/N's staff, sorry." Miu sheepishly smiles, scratching her nape. Sokka's impression quickly turns into a smug look as if he didn't look very sad earlier. "No, no. It's completely fine, I wouldn't want to be angry with you." Sokka wink makes you mentally gag. "I guess there's no more boomerang guy." You joked, Sokka halfheartedly glared at you.
"Stop hurting my feelings!"

Appa stops at a local store near the village. Katara and Miu started purchasing foods and stuff for the journey. You saw Sokka sulking.
"Sorry about your boomerang, Sokka." Aang apologizes on his behalf. "I feel like I've lost part of my identity. Imagine if you lost yours and Y/N's arrow." He said pointing at the arrow on your forehead, he harshly pushed your forehead with his finger, earning him with a smack. "Do that again or you won't see your precious machete again." You said with a sharp glare. Sokka dramatically sighs as Katara comes to him for comfort.
"Here's your produce, pony tail guy." Sokka gets the bag full of food, still sulking. "I used to be called Boomerang Guy." And began to sob. "You're such a crybaby, Sokka."
