In midsummer's jovial light,
I gaze calmly at the distant shores
Making ripples with my oars,
Waves drifting out of sight.
The watery silence brings no fright,
For pure joy enters my heart's doors
In midsummer's jovial light,
I gaze calmly at the distant shores.
Glistening fish leap to amazing heights,
A sleek, clever dolphin elegantly soars
I inhale the refreshing air of the outdoors
Through coral-tinted eyes, I savour delight
In midsummer's jovial light.
