Freen's POV

It's Monday again, my most hated day of the week, not because of school work but because of the piles of work in the School Council because I'm the SCP. I didn't ask for it, seriously. They just recommended me to the school head; that's why.

I never really wish to be in this position because of too many responsibilities and work.

"Freen, wake up; you'll be late for school if you don't wake up now!" I heard my Mimi yell from downstairs. I went to the stairs to peek at my Mimi.
"I'm already awake, Mimi. What's for breakfast?" I asked.
"Sausage, scrambled eggs, and fried rice," Mimi said, plastering a smile at me.
"Yummy, I gotta move now." Then I smiled at my Mimi, and she just nodded, so I washed up in my room's bath.

After I washed and wore my uniform, I went downstairs and saw Mimi preparing at the kitchen counter. I backhugged her and greeted her.
"Good morning, Mimi.".
"Good morning too, dear. Eat now; don't let the food wait." I nodded, then sat.

Fast forward:

"Mimi, where's the car key?" I asked Mimi since it's not on the table near the front door, where I last put it.
"Oh right, I put it on the TV table." I nodded, then took the keys.
"Bye, Mimi; I've got to get going now." She smiled, then nodded at me.

I drove my BMW-i8 car (white with blue and black) and stopped by the Whimsical Velvet Cafe, a shop owned by my friend Nam.

As I entered, people's gazes inside the cafe were on me. Well, it's normal; everywhere I go, it's like this every single day. I slightly giggled when someone yelled.
"Hey babe!" Yep, it's Nam; she's been calling me "babe" since we became friends (we've been friends since elementary school).

"Hello there, Miss Beautiful," I said teasingly, and then she chuckled.
"Let's go; I'm here to pick you up since you said you're tired," I said.
"HUH!? SERIOUSLY!? I mean REALLY!?" I got shocked when she suddenly yelled, "Yeah, why? Don't you want me to pick you up?" I asked, a little confused.
"No, not at all. I'm just shocked."
"Yeah, obviously."

Then she held my arms and guided me to the counter to pick up two cups of coffee. "Let's go!" She said, half-yelling.

We made our way out of the cafe, and all the eyes of the customers were on us, like they're judging us because we act like a couple, but of course we're not. After we bid our goodbyes to her employees, who are close to us like friends, I opened the door for her in the passenger seat.
"Thank you, babe," she whispered. "Welcome, beautiful," and then we both laughed.

Fast forward:

As we're on our way to the university, Nam opens the car window on her side.
"Why? Is it hot?" I asked her, since she doesn't really like opening the car window when we're driving because of the smoke and dust.
"No, I saw Noey and Baitoey. I guess they will be coming to school together."
"And? Is there something wrong with that?"
"Nothing; it's just that I actually forgot Noey's birthday, which is today."
"WHAT THE HELL!?" I asked because I totally forgot.
"Sorry," I said because Nam got startled by my sudden yelling.

Fast forward:

"Hey, should we buy a gift now or later? Or should we admit to Noey that we forgot her birthday?" I asked her. Well, Noey isn't really fond of celebrating her birthday, but as her friend, of course I want to give her a gift.
"We should buy online and ask for fast delivery. What do you think?"
"Through online? Hmm..." I asked while thinking.
