Freen's POV

"Mi, I'll get going now," I said, hugging her.
"Take care; don't be stubborn, okay? Be good to Faye." She warned me and let go of the hug.

It's Sunday today, and Faye will introduce her special someone to me.

To be honest, till now I still don't know who I should bring with me.

I texted Becky because she's my first option, but she's busy, unfortunately.

And of course, I don't want my other friends to come since others will sulk, so I'll be alone. I guess.

I walked through the door and went to the garage. I'll drive since Faye can't pick me up. We'll just meet later at the mall.

I was about to enter my car when my phone rang.

I checked the caller, and it was him.

(Seng-Call):

Seng:
Hi Freen, good morning. Are you free today?

Me:
Morning. Sorry, I'm not available today. I'm meeting someone.

Seng:
Who?

Me:
Why would I tell you?

Seng:
Sorry.

Me:
Why did you call?

Seng:
I want to ask you for a date, of course. My one month is about to expire, you know?

Me:
...

Seng:
Still there?

Me:
Sure, pick me up. I'll wait for you at the gate.

Seng:
Okay, thank you, Freen.

I hung up.

I won't come with him wherever he wants to take me. Instead, I'll take him with me to Faye.

Our deal was about to expire. And somehow, somehow, I feel sad about it.

Maybe because I'm expecting something from... Someone.

And that someone might be him...

But I don't really know.

I went to the gate since Seng's house isn't far away from our house.

I also don't want Mimi to see him; she's kind of still mad at him.

Well, who wouldn't?

A few minutes later, he arrived.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," he said as soon as he got out of the car.
