No one's POV

The morning came, and it was windy. Freen was packing her things since she needed to go to her psychiatrist.

Freen's POV

"Yes, Mimi. I'll go now. Bye, take care." I ended the call with my Mimi.

She called me a while ago, asking about me. I assured her that I'm okay and still breathing. She scolded me for joking like that.

She then called me again to say that she had already talked to my psychiatrist a while ago. She updated me too about her doings in Canada.

"Now, now, should I call Faye?" I asked myself, wondering if Faye was free today.

I'm checking the things in my bag; if everything I would need is there, I'll visit our business out of town today since Mimi is out of the country for business. She'll be there until the end of the month.

But I'll just visit. Check the files. Then, done. Maybe I'll visit Auntie Claire too. She's Faye's mother, and Faye is my cousin. Saint's brother. They originally lived in the province since Auntie wanted a peaceful and simple life. But since Saint wants to go to the same university as me, which is in the city, she bought him a condo unit near the university.

Faye is a doctor-a heart surgeon, to be exact. She lives in a condo too, near the Chakimha Hospital.

You read it right; it's a hospital owned by my father, but he died, so Mimi is now the owner. It'll be passed down to me, so I took the STEM strand.

I'll be a doctor too, just like Faye.

I decided to call Faye to ask for a little favor.

* RINGGG! RINGGG! RINGGG!

It rang three times before Faye picked up my call.

(Faye): In Call

"What is it, little one?" she asked, sounding irritated.
"It's early in the morning, yet you're irritated. Why is that?" I asked with concern.
"Nothing. Why did you call? Miss me that much?" she teased.
"Come on, tell me first," I insisted.
"My patient's boyfriend came, and he threatened me, like, who the hell is he to do that? I want to punch him in the face and kick his groin," she explained madly. I can sense through her voice that she is really mad.
"Do you know him?" I asked with a serious voice.
"No, no, no. I won't tell you. You'll ask Auntie again for something not nice. Anyway, why did you call, hm?" She asked, changing the topic.
"Are you free today? I mean, now?" I asked.
"Yes. Why?"
"Can you accompany me to my psychiatrist?" I asked.
"Oh, right. You have a session every three days. I forgot. Okay, I'll pick you up. Wait for me at the gate; I'll be fast," she said, and I nodded even though she wouldn't see me.
"Okay. Bye, Faye. Drive safe," I said and hung up.

Most of the time, Faye is the one who accompanies me every time I have a session with my psychiatrist. But sometimes she's busy, so I go with Saint, Mimi, or Billy.

My friends don't know about me meeting a psychiatrist, so they can't accompany me. But it's okay.

I waited for Faye at the gate with a bag in my hand. It's not heavy.

A car stopped in front of me, and she went out of it.
"Little one, did you wait long?" She asked, taking my bag from me.
"Not that long," I answered.
She opened the passenger seat and guided me in.
She then hopped in the driver's seat, and we drove off.

Becky's POV

I woke up early because I have a class. But I'm not excited, unlike before, because she's absent.
