Freen's POV

"Done!" I said with excitement and relief as I walked out of the office.
"Already?" Faye asked, and I nodded.
"Where should we go next?" She asked as we walked out of the psychiatric hospital.
"Aren't you busy?" I asked her to confirm.
"No, why?" she said, and I shook my head.

"My next stop is out of town," I said, and she opened the passenger door for me.
"Thanks." I thanked her and hopped in. She nodded and went to the driver's seat.
"Where?" She asked as she started the car engine.
"Your hometown. Remember? We have a business there, and since Mimi is out of the country, I'll manage our business for a while." I explained, and she nodded continuously.

"For how long?" she asked.
"I won't be there for too long since I have school. Maybe I'll go home in the afternoon," I answered.
"Okay, let's go there then," she said.
"Are you sure you want to come with me? It's okay if you don't want to," I asked her.
"It's fine. I want to accompany you. I want to visit Mom too," she assured me, and I nodded and looked outside.

Why is the view so breathtaking today?

It's like something magical will happen.

"You should rest for a while, little one. I'll just wake you up later when we arrive," she said, and I drifted to sleep.

"What's wrong?" Richie asked as Becky slammed the passenger door shut madly.
"Why so red? You're like an active volcano who's about to explode." Richie teased that, which made Becky look at him with a threat.
"Don't start, Richie," Becky warned him, and he acted like zipping his mouth shut, which made Becky roll her eyes.

Silence enveloped the whole ride until they arrived at school. Richie waved at Becky, but she didn't say anything and just went inside the university.

"Becky! So glad to see you!" A boy said excitedly.
"Non? You're back!" Becky said, and her mood suddenly changed. She's quite happy now, I guess.
"Why do you look so angry?" Non asked, and Becky shook her head.
"Nothing. By the way, why are you here?" Becky asked with confusion.

"I enrolled here. Irin accompanied me since you're nowhere to be found earlier," Non said and chuckled.
"I thought you'd live in the US for a while?" Becky asked.
"Well yeah, supposedly, but Dad changed his mind and let me go here and study," Non explained while smiling widely.

"Real? Glad to hear that. Anyway, where's Irin? Why aren't you with her?" Becky asked as she looked around.
"She went with someone after I enrolled. The name is, what is it again? Noey, I guess," Non said, unsure.
"What class are you in?" Becky asked as they walked around the university.
"STEM Class A, you?"

"Oh, we've got the same class. Let's go; we'll be late," Becky said, and they ran.
"Really? So, is the Monkey Trio complete?" he asked, and Becky nodded.

Fast Forward:

Becky's POV

"Go sit beside Ms. Irin," the professor said, after Non introduced himself. Non then nodded and went to his seat.

The seating arrangement is randomly picked. Meaning you can sit wherever you want. But once it's your seat, you cannot change places.

The table we have is long—a table for three with three individual seats. I'm on the right, Irin is in the middle, and Non is on the left.

"Class, beside Mr. Non, we also have a newly enrolled student in our class. He studied here before too, but moved to another country. And now he's back. I'm sure some of you know him. Come in, Mr. Billy," the teacher explained.

Billy then came into our classroom and bowed.
"Hi everyone, I'm Billy, and I'm glad to see you guys. I hope we'll get along well." He introduced himself, and the class went wild.

So, he's famous, huh? Why haven't I heard of him before? He also knows my brother.

"You can take a seat beside Mr. Joaquin and Ms. Velvet," the professor said, pointing at them. Billy bowed and went to his seat.

Why is this jerk in the same class as me?

A couple of minutes have passed, and the teacher is now explaining our new lesson, but I'm not even listening.

I'll just review it later, when I get home. It's still unsure, but Freen and I will have a session later. But even if we do not have any sessions for today, I'll just study alone.

I miss Freen already, but I'm still mad at her.

She made me jealous earlier, hmp!

Hours have passed; two subjects are done already. It's so boring. Not the lessons, but because she's not here.

It feels so empty.

As the bell rang, indicating that it was break time, Freen's group of friends came to where I was sitting.

"Come with us, Armstrong," Nam said with authority, and she walked out of the classroom with her friends.

"What is that?" Irin asked.
"What's what?" I asked back.
"Why are they calling for you? Are you guys close?" Irin asked, and I shrugged her shoulders.
"Not really. I don't know why they want me to come with them. Anyway, bye," I said and followed Nam.

No one's POV

"Who are those, Irin? I recognize one of them; it's Noey, the one you went with earlier, right?" Non asked as he was confused.
"Yes, it's Noey. And the other girls are Nam, the one who talked to Becky, and Baitoey," Irin explained.
"And what do they want with Becky?"
"I don't know," Irin said.

They decided to follow Becky and found out they went to the cafeteria.

Becky's POV

"Seat, Armstrong," Nam said, and I obliged.
"Why?" I asked.
"I heard about what you did yesterday, about Billy," Nam said, and Becky nodded.
"What about it?"
"Well, Freen told us about what happened, and we just want to thank you for what you did," Baitoey said, smiling.

"Oh, it's nothing, really. He's just so bold," I said, and they all laughed.
"We know. He's always been like that," Noey said.
"Uhm, can I ask you guys a question?" I asked, and they all nodded.
"Sure, go ahead."
"Do you know where Freen is? And when is she coming back?" I asked, and they looked at each other before looking at me.

"It's okay if she tells you it's a secret," I assured them, but they shook their heads and laughed.
"She's out of town, if I'm not mistaken," Nam said.
"I know she is, but I want to know where exactly," I said.
"She's at the Ayutthaya. It's their family's hometown; she's there for their business. and to visit her close family too," Nam explained.

"About her coming back, we don't know. Maybe tomorrow?" Baitoey said, unsure.
"And who is she with?" Becky asked, which shocked Nam, Baitoey, and Noey.
"What do you mean?" Noey asked.
"Huh? I mean what I asked. She's with someone, and she doesn't want to tell me who it is," I said, and they were shocked and confused.

"We don't know; she didn't tell us. I thought she drove there alone, since she has a car," Baitoey said.
"Wait, why are you asking us this again, Armstrong?" Nam asked.
"Nothing. I just want to know," I said, stuttering.
"And why do you want to know?" Baitoey asked.
"Well-" I didn't finish my words when my friends came to rescue me.

Thank you, guys.

"Hey Noey, Nam, and Baitoey. We're here to pick Becky up because we will go to the library," Irin said, and in just a second, we are now running away from them.
