[We cut to the abandoned house where Luz and the gang are cleaning up the house. Y/n then comes down the stairs and enters the main room.]
Y/n: Alright, the attic is cleaned from- [Sneezes.] all the dust.
[We see Flapjack pecking the floor and Ghost, Clover, and Emmiline looking concerned. We then cut to Gus drawing his dad, Willow drawing her dads, and Amity drawing her dad and the twins. They hang it up on the Bulletin board as Hunter looks a bit discouraged. Y/n notices Emira and a look of longing dawns on his face. Hunter and Luz look over a drawing of the portal door labelled "Needs Titan Blood?".]

Luz: The problem is where can we find Titan blood...
Hunter: Hmm...
[Just then, a possum jumps through the drawing and runs around the room. Everyone gets shocked as the Palismen run after it.]
Y/n: Where are they going?
Luz: Never mind that. I think I have an idea of how we can make the portal. Remember when we made that portal back in the Boiling Isles?
[Y/n looks at her curiously as it cuts to a montage of them outside trying to make a makeshift portal numerous times. Numerous attempts have been made and failed. Even trying to use Y/n's sword (Yonaka) to power it, but nothing has worked. Luz progressively gets more worried and worried attempt after attempt.]
[Hunter connects some cables and gives a thumbs up as Gus puts his palisman on the running wheel alongside the other palismen running in their respective wheels.]
Amity: Luz... Are you sure this will work this time?
Luz: Well...
Y/n: Hopefully...
[When the gang attempts to test a portal, it briefly breaches the in-between realm before exploding.]
Gus: [Runs in with a fire extinguisher but he swings it like a flail.]
Y/n: Gus no!
Vee: [Goes into frame to get the fire extinguisher from Gus to use it properly.]
[Luz crouches down in disappointment as she takes her hat off. Amity and Y/n come to comfort her. Y/n stares at the flames pondering what to do.]
[The camera lingers on the flames as it transitions a couple of days later to a light glyph on Luz's notebook with drawings of Eda, King, Lilith, and Hooty. During those couple of days, they tried numerous attempts again to make the portal but everything failed. She looks down in sadness as she touches the glyph but nothing happens. She crumples the page and looks over the unhatched palisman. She then notices the bus has arrived and she grabs her bags to go down and go to school.]
