𝗡𝗮𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶, the 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲, is what everyone would call a happily married man with a beautiful family. Everyone knew he was married to the gorgeous 𝗛𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗛𝘆𝘂𝗴𝗮 and had two beautiful children with her, 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗼 and 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗨𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶. To everyone in the village, it seemed as though he had the family he'd always dreamt of as a kid but never had nor had the chance of experiencing.
However, is that really the case with the blonde man, or the Uzumaki family for that matter, or was there more that seemed to meet the eye of the family everyone loved and wanted. The blonde Uzumaki was so busy with his Hokage work, signing what seemed like endless amounts of papers and doing other duties that a Kage ought to do, that he almost completely neglected his family and almost never had time for them like he did before becoming the Hokage.
But what if the 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶 that everyone in the village knew and hated in the beginning but ended up loving in the end, was nothing but a complete and utter fake? What if he had secrets that no one inside of the village knew about? What if those who thought they knew the blonde Hokage were all going to find out who Naruto really was, and even up to that day?
~~
𝗕𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶, the son of 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶, being the splitting image of the older man, was a 16 year old shinobi of 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗼, also known as the 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀, or 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 for short. He was an amazing prodigy [unlike his father], and was also the student of 𝗦𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝗨𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗮, his idol and his father's long time rival. Although he was a prodigy, that didn't mean that he was a prodigy in the sense of being the best of the best, but he was a prodigy nonetheless. He was extremely smart, but not smart enough to give his best friend Shikadai a run for his money.
When the blonde teen had become a genin and up until the Chunin Exams which had started two days ago, he had a grudge of some sorts against his father. He was angry, bitter, sad and hurt, all at the same time and it was all his father's fault. All his father ever did after becoming the Hokage, was ignore his mother, and neglected him and his younger sister, choosing to focus on his work rather than his family. He was never around for all the important things that went on in his own family, but he was always there for any important event in the village. The blonde man barely made it to his 16th birthday when he had returned to the village, because he was so busy, which really drove his anger towards the man, because the village was so more important than his own family. However, all of that seemed to change the moment that his new foster brother stepped into the picture.
𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗶, now 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗶 𝗨𝘇𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶, was after all the only person that would let Naruto into his life [not even him], and also allow the blonde man to be there for him. Kawaki wouldn't even try and be friendly with him, often being quiet and keeping to himself. In fact, he was so quiet that he felt like a ghost at times, choosing to stay to himself in the guest bedroom that had been his father's bedroom/office, since he was always so busy, which had become his bedroom, which he didn't mind sharing with the blonde man. The older boy [who was almost 21], didn't want to admit it because he already had a bad image amongst certain people in the village upon first arrival years ago, but he cared tremendously about the blonde man who had let him into his house without any second thought, and even trained him to be a ninja. Sure Kawaki had some beef with Boruto, simply because the blonde boy wasn't able to understand that the man had to work in order to protect the village and keep it safe from anyone who dared to try and attack. After all, he saw all the work the man had to do, and sometimes helped him by sorting out the papers, but the man was really busy with all the problems that were in the village.
