ObiNaru: The 'Dead' Uchiha & The Deadlast Prodigy

A new memory started and they were immediately introduced to a 12 year old Naruto who was running throughout the streets of Konoha with a bucket of paint in hand. It looked like he was being chased, but he managed to get away and took a turn, hiding himself from them. The ones that were pursuing him, totally missed him as they ran past him, trying to find the blonde. When they were gone, he came out.

"And they call themselves ANBU and Chunin, huh." Naruto said as he sighed. "Oh Konoha, what happened to your glory? Seven Chunin and nine ANBU that can't even catch a 12 year old academy student... pathetic."

This made the small group snicker at the young blonde. Naruto really was a prankster, seeing all the colors on the Hokage Monument. Just like Boruto, his dad did the exact same thing. Everyone was also amused by Naruto's words since they never saw this sarcastic side of him. He was always so dumb yet managed to be right on many occasions but this side, he never showed it to any one of them.

"Gaah, Iruka-sensei, how did you find me!?" Naruto yelled after the brunette had found him, automatically switching to his dumb act which made them wonder just how good of an actor Naruto is, and looking back then, was everything about him fake?

"Of course I will know where to find you... stupid." Iruka said as he grabbed the protesting blonde's arm and walked back to the academy.

Once they got there, they had to do a henge test which everyone in class wasn't happy about. The other students blamed Naruto because now they had to do an extra test, but the blonde didn't care. When it was his turn, he did his Sexy no Jutsu and made a naked adult female version of himself that gave Iruka a huge nosebleed as he passed out from the perverted jutsu.

After that, Iruka took him to the Hokage Monument so that he can clean the mess that he had made. Boruto and the rest of the kids were quite entertained by seeing that as well as the younger version of the adults that appeared in his memories so far. What they didn't know was that Sakura and Ino were so fixated on Sasuke, much like the other kids in the classroom. However, the person they were missing was a younger version of Sai. Not to mention that Hinata was so shy and timid, always pushing her index fingers together and blushing whenever she looked at his Naruto and of course the blonde was oblivious. Or maybe he just pretended not to notice.

"Come on Naruto, the sooner you finish, the sooner you can go home." Iruka said to try and motivate Naruto as he washed the monument.

"It's not like I have someone waiting for me at home." Naruto replied casually, causing the brunette eyes to widen.

It surprised a lot of them of how Naruto could just say thing like that, as if they didn't matter at all. He barely seemed to be affected by the fact that he was alone most of the time. In some way, a few of them could understand that feeling, since they either grew up alone, or felt as though they were alone despite being around so many people.

"If you finish quickly, I'll treat you to ramen." Iruka said, softly this time.

It seemed like this motivated Naruto as he finished the work rather quickly, before they both made their way to the ramen shop. While they were at Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto finished his first bowl really quickly and ordered a second, before starting to enjoy it slowly this time. Iruka just watched him while he was eating his first bowl, not saying anything until he was on his second bowl.

"You really do like ramen huh?" Iruka asked while slurping his noodles.

"Not really." Naruto replied while he was still eating.
