Me and Shanti were chillin in 2nd
period when Dee came in. We both
stared in awe at the cuts and bruises all
over her. She came and sat down next
to us and gave a weak smile. "H-hey yall."
"Bae....what happened?" I managed to say.
Shanti was still staring. Just then class was dismissed.
Shanti grabbed her arm and was dragging her to the bathroom.
I followed. By then Dee was crying.
When we were finally inside, Shanti was able to speak again.
"It's Ethan, isn't it?" Dee just broke down.
"I d-don't know w-what I did wrong. He t-tried to r-rape me t-too."
She cried uncontrollably. All I saw was red.
"HE TRIED TO WHAT?" I semi-yelled.
Almost being a victim of rape, I know how this feels and this really hurts me.
Shanti managed to stay calm. "Dee, why have you been lying to us about this? You know we can help you." she said softly.
"That's it. We are all coming to my house tonight." I looked at Dee.
"Especially you. Because I know your scared."
I hugged her and she hugged me back.
She sniffled. "B-but what i-if he comes for m-me?"
"Don't worry. I'm gonna handle it." I said.
Shanti looked at me confused.
I called the one person I knew I could trust.
The one person who will help me with anything.
The one person who loves me.
Ms.Kesha
Ms.Kesha POV

My shift was finally over.
I was going to get Malachi when my phone rang.
"Hello?" "Ms.Kesha!" I heard Maya yell into the phone.
"Ms.Kesha I need you to come get us like right now!" She said sounding panicky.
"Maya honey calm down and tell me what happened."
She explained Dee's situation.
By the time she finished I could feel my face turning red.
"I'll be right there." "Thank you," she said sounding relieved.
"Can you get Malachi too?"
"Was already on it." I said.
I smiled at the phone. I loved these girls with all my heart.
I got Malachi in the car and headed toward the school.
