Misunderstood

Chapter 3

I'm so glad to get a break from all that work . I can't believe this morning I spazzed out . Well , in my head . I've never done that before . I guess love makes you do crazy things ..

"Hey , Zhee.." Jada said . "Zhane?!"

"Yea .." I replied calmly .

"What was up with you this morning ? It was like you was in your own little zone" She said doing the quotation fingers on "own little zone" .

"Oh .. Uh .. I'm not sure.." I said .

"Was it because of Jay's new girl ?" Jada said .

I looked at her with a sharp look .. "You knew he had a girlfriend?!" I said .

"Everybody did -.... Everybody except you , huh ?" She said awkwardly .

Wow .. Even my best friend new ! How stupider can I BE ?! I looked at her in astonishment . I can't believe this . .

I pulled out my phone and showed Jada the text .

"I miss you?" She said . "Why ? Maybe he sent it to the wrong person.."

"No ! It can't be .." I said furiously .

"How you figure that?" Jada said

"Because .. He asked me if I got his text ." I said in a quiet tone .

God knows I love Jordan . But he ain't no good for me . I feel like I'm not complete with out him . Like he has the answer to all my problems ..

"I love him" I said out loud .

"Who ?" She said .

"I gotta go do something ." I told her . "I'll be right back ."

"Can I have you tatter tots ?" She said .

"Knock yourself out ." I said walking away .

I'm gonna do it .. Something I should've did last Friday . I'm gonna let him know how I feel about him . So , I texted him back . "I miss you too .. Meet me in the auditorium . Come alone " He looked at me when I sent him the text . I know for a fact we can have privacy there .

"Hey" he said ..

"Hi.." I replied .

"Jordan .. I miss you . I know we had our differences but I miss you . And I don't know what you did but ... You have my heart . I ... I -..." He cut me off .

He kissed me . His perfect lips . Pressed up against mine . Awwww , how I missed his touch..

"But what about your girlfriend ?" I said .

"Let me worry about that .." He said as he kissed me again .

He held my hand as we went our seperate ways until we couldn't reach no more .. I walked back in the lunch room . I feel like the happiest girl ALIVE ! He gives me butterflies .. He makes me feel like I can fly . I glanced at him while we was at our separate tables . He winked at me .

"Uhhh .. What was that about ?!" Jada said .

"What ?" I said trying to act confused .

"Don't play dumb with me . I can see the excitement all over your face .. Spill it ." She said .

I bit my lip . I love my bestfriend . She can see right through me .

"Jordan kissed me ... Not any kiss like a "I miss you kiss" and he made me feel .. Oh my geeee !" I said really fast .

"Zhane ... Did you forget about this morning ? The wall ? .. Or what about now?" She said .

I looked over there .. And there they were . Kissing . I'm done with love . Middle fingers towards it ! Thats how I'm feeling right about now . He's plating with my emotions !

When I went home .. All I wanted to do was cry . I cried all night . I burned every possession I had of him . I'm heart broken ! Why me ?! ... And the bad thing about it is I believed him !

I'm gonna get my phone and just let him know wassup ! He is so childish for that ! I hate him ! What am I saying ?! I love him ... Mostly of all I miss him .
