~Savannah's POV~
Three weeks!!! I thought it over and over in my head. Three weeks in a place I've wanted to go since I was nine years old.
Rachel's mom allowed us to stay for three weeks, so I called my family and told them. They were astounded. They couldn't see how anyone could deal with us for three weeks straight, of course since they were led to believe that Rach's mom was going.

We blast the radio, singing along obnoxiously and giggling excessively all the way to the airport.
I turn to Rachel as I unbuckle.
"This is about to be my first time ever on a plane. Do you know how long I've wanted to get on a plane?!?"
"I KNOW RIGHT!" She yells her agreement.
We bounce out and unload all our belongings and roll our luggages toward the open hatch of the plane. We leave them at the baggage drop-off and board the plane, with just our small cross-shoulder bags now.
"I can't wait to try airplane food!" I beam, taking a seat, as we agreed on switching rounds on the window seat.
"Yass! I mean that's half the reason I even boarded this plane. FOOD!"
I laugh, catching her obvious joke, even though it wouldn't be too surprising if she was serious. We do love our food.
The announcement is made for all passengers to remain seated as takeoff was about to start.
Rachel and I hold on to each other and our seats with permanent grins plastered on our faces. Mine includes a giddy lip bite.
As the plane takes off, I feel like we're rocketing into space! It was such an exotic feeling, but I hope to get to feel it many more times.
"Well, we're in the sky!" Rachel squeals.
"And look who's coming to visit!" I beam, motioning toward the stewardess.
I hear Rach's quick intake of breath.
The stewardess finally gets to us and smiles.
"Sweet or salty?"
"Both!" We jinx, giggling slightly at each other.
The lady laughs and pulls out four snacks, handing two to each of us. She seems to like us and that's a good thing. The provider of food likes us.
As we snack, I ask Rachel if she thinks we could get away with requesting alcohol, with an impish grin.
"Um. Probably not. But we could try" she replies with a snicker.
I lean back in my seat.
"Ehh, I'd rather remember my first ride."
"True. Very true."
And I will never forget it. We have just as much fun cruising through the air as we do dancing around in our rooms, or going out on the town.
