Savannah's POV
Oh My...
There he was standing in the middle of this hotel lobby with his hands in his pockets. It was in that moment that I realized that he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I'm a bit aware of the fact that Rachel has just left me to bombard Ross in a hug and I am noticing that his face looks unusually red before snapping back to myself and realizing that I should probably make a move. Rachel just showed me up. Andrew is smiling awkwardly-- but beautifully at me. I bite down on my red lip and go his way.
"It's good to see you again." He says, leaning in and kissing my cheek softly and his accent is emphasized and the kiss is sweeter. How does he do this to me?
"Better to see you" I smile and lightly touch his arm in an attempt to flirt.
"You look beautiful" he says as his eyes scan me. He is totally high key checking me out. It encourages me to squeeze his arm tighter.
"Thanks." My cheeks heat and my smile grows. I am only just now aware of my shaky hands so I save myself by whipping my head around to Rachel and Ross.
"You seem anxious. So, you ready to get out of here and find your surprise?" Andrew asks, taking my nervous, shaky hand. Oh yes. That's why I'm shaking. I'm anxious. I'm anxious for the surprise. I kinda forgot about the surprise, actually. I'm glad he reminded me.
"Yes!! Show me the surprise!" I say, attempting to sound confident.
Andrew squeezes more sparks into my hand and leads me toward the door. I catch air of Rachel and Ross's awkward, flirty banter as we pass and smile, rolling my eyes as we pick them up with us as we go.
As we step out into the lit up, bustling sidewalks, I inhale a deep breath of the city air. It really is beautiful. A slick black limousine catches my eye and I squeeze Andrew's hand and nudge Rachel.
"Look!" I tell them, pointing to it. It's parked right outside our hotel and I wonder if there might be a celebrity staying at our place. Rachel and I will have to investigate.
Andrew tugs me closer toward it on his leash he has on me and he then opens the door. It suddenly clicks. THEY RENTED A LIMO FOR US. HOLY. WHAT THE-
"I can't believe you." I gush at him, sliding into the freakishly long vehicle. There are drinks I've never even heard of in here and it's LED lit. Andrew slides in close beside me and I watch Rachel's gawking expression match my own as she and Ross slide into the seats across from us.
"What do you want?" Andrew asks, motioning toward the mini personal refrigerator.
"Surprise me." I tell him. I am too flustered to think straight and I think what he'll give me might help a little bit. At least with my shaking problem.
He pops open a bottle and pours me something sparkling in a champagne glass. I am forever grateful as I gulp down this creamy, unholy grail. I think he's impressed, but he has no idea what a bundle of nerves he makes me. He places a hand on my thigh and I feel like panting.
I hear Rachel giggle, but it's hard to see all the way across on their side. I think they're holding hands. I smile because I'm proud of her. Those two are really opening up.
My glass is emptied and I'm becoming impervious to what I've had, so I request some more from a smirking Andrew.
"Be careful" he whispers, handing me my second glass, but giving me a quick kiss on the lips first. I feel like a lighting bolt has struck right through my entire body. I clank my glass against his and the electricity between us is so insane right now that I press the glass to my lips and tip it back.
By the time we reach our destination, I am feeling pretty good running off four glasses and the restaurant we've pulled up to is astounding. It's a gargantuan, lit up building and I'm utterly anxious to see what's inside. I know it will be exquisite and I'm totally feeling taking it on right now with this exquisite boy holding onto me.
