A day after the match, Devanshi's family gathered eagerly in the grand hall of the palace. Namrata and Arvind, had arrived from udaipur to join in the momentous occasion. Dev's Nani, masi, dada-dadi, Anaya, Padmanabh, Gauravi, and Shubman's family were all present, their faces alight with excitement as they prepared to decide the wedding date for Devanshi and Shubman.

Seated in a circle, the family turned to the pandit, eager to hear his guidance on the auspicious dates for the wedding ceremony. The pandit consulted his ancient scriptures and after careful consideration, he spoke, "The most favorable time for Devanshi and Shubman's wedding ceremony falls between 25th May to 10th June. The next auspicious window would be from 15th to 20th December next year."

The family exchanged glances, weighing their options carefully. "Shub, dev, don't you think Next December is a bit too far?" Kerat put up her suggestions, "Butat the same time its very less time for the near date."

"What do you think? If you want it early, Hum may take sari preprations aaram se kar sakte hai. We'll get everything done. You just focus on your game." Dev whispered to Shubmam.

"Is it convenient?"

"Possibly yes. We already have the venue, padmanabh and gauravi will lookafter the arrangements we want. Anaya can make the wedding invitation. I have already talked to a designer friend, he'll have our main ceremony outfits designed by the end of april, and for other ceremonies we have outfits in archive for us to choose from. Menu, gifts and everything else will be taken care of by bhai and bhabhi, we'll just have to give the last verdict. Shahneel, Mehak, and others will help with the planning. Bas ek din baith ke wedding guest list banani rahegi, uske lie we can call mehak for help."

They knew that time was of the essence, and they couldn't afford to delay the wedding any further. Shubmna thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"We should proceed with the wedding ceremony after the IPL and before the World Cup," Shubman declared,  "It's the best option for both of us."

Devanshi, Shahneel, and Kerat sat together Devanshi's room, their faces filled with warmth and anticipation as they discussed the upcoming cricket matches and wedding arrangements.

"Dev, we would love for you to join us in Mohali for Shubman's match against the Punjab Kings," Shahneel began, her voice brimming with excitement. "Aur tum ghar bhi dekh logi?"

Devanshi's eyes lit up with delight at the invitation. "I think its a good idea. After the match, we can all travel together to Delhi for the next game against DC," she added, her voice filled with anticipation. "Shaadi ke kapdo ka kaam bhi ho jaega."

They started to plan the trip and also decided on some of the clothings for the two other ladies.

As Devanshi went about her nightly routine, the anticipation of the upcoming trip to Mohali and Delhi filled her thoughts. She shared the details with Shubman, hoping for a moment of shared excitement. However, his response was far from what she had expected.

"I have no issues unless you pull stunts and become a problem for me," Shubman retorted, his tone dripping with arrogance. His words struck Devanshi like a cold gust of wind, leaving her feeling unsettled and hurt.

She looked at him, her eyes reflecting a mix of surprise and disappointment. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion. "I'm coming because mummy said it would be a great idea if i could visit your home and attend your match."

Shubman's expression remained impassive, his gaze unwavering. "I know how you can be, Devanshi," he replied, his tone laced with condescension. "I don't want any drama or distractions while I'm focusing on my game."

Devanshi felt a pang of hurt at Shubman's dismissive attitude. She had hoped for a moment of connection, a shared excitement about the upcoming trip, but instead, she was met with indifference and disdain.

"Are you kidding me, Shubman," she said, her voice tinged with frustration. "I'm just trying to be supportive and be a part of your life."

Shubman shrugged nonchalantly, his indifference cutting through Devanshi like a knife. "I don't want or need your support."

Devanshi felt a wave of hurt and anger wash over her at Shubman's callous words. She had hoped for understanding and support from her fiancé, but instead, she was met with scorn and disdain.

"Fine, Shubman," she said, her voice trembling with suppressed emotion. "I'll make sure not to inconvenience you in any way. You won't even know I'm there."

With that, Devanshi turned away, her heart heavy with disappointment. She had hoped for a moment of connection with Shubman, but instead, she was left feeling alone and misunderstood. As she continued with her nightly routine, she couldn't shake the feeling of sadness that lingered in her heart.
