What Happens Next

Wolves

We have been walking for longer then when I left. I looked back at Elijah and Rebekah with worry. "Are we lost? This is taking longer then before."

Elijah shakes his head. "Just a little longer. It probably seems longer cause when you left you weren't paying attention you were zoned out. Don't worry we aren't lost." He comforted

I nod as we continued to walk. After 5 more minutes I smiled as I saw the village fires. Finally I was convinced we were lost. Anyways just as we were about to enter the village limit we heard howls.

Wolves.

I spot and look around with wide eyes. I didn't see anything beside Elijah drawing his sword he brought with. "Elijah...what's going on?" I tried so hard to make sure I didn't sound scared but I failed miserably.

Elijah looked at me quickly. "Run to the house and get father and Finn." He spoke quickly but it didn't sound like he was scared.

I shake my head. "Are you crazy?! I'm not leaving you and Rebekah here!"

Elijah eyes harder and he stared at me. "You will listen to what I say. Now go!" He yelled.

I quickly back away as I saw a pack of wolves come out from the woods. I stood paralyzed with fear as 3 of the were looking at me.

Thankfully Rebekah grabbed my shoulders and started to push me into moving. I have never felt more scared in my life.

We got closer to where Elijah lives and I looked back and the wolves were still following. "Mikael!! Finn!! Help!" I yelled when I saw the hut in view.

I almost reached the door when I felt searing pain in my back right calf. I fell down a screamed as I felt my skin tear away from my body.

I don't remember much of what happened next all I know is that Mikael and Finn came running out with swords. Next minute Elijah was down beside me and he had blood patches on his clothes and holding my hand.

After a few seconds the entire family was around me. As time went on I started to feel the most unbearable pain in my leg. I scream as I sit up and reaching down towards my leg. "Make it stop!! Ugh!! It hurts!!"

I could feel my leg grow hot from my blood as it ran down my leg. Elijah started to lift me up gently and brought me back into the hut near the fire.

I knew what was coming and I didn't want anything to do with it. I held on tighter to Elijah trying to send some sort of message to get me out of here.

Elijah layed me down gently on the ground as he gently lays my head. He had tears in his eyes as he looked at me with a sad smile. "Your ok... you'll be ok I promise." He looked up and gave a small nod to someone, I didn't know who.

The next few seconds I started to feel faint. I didn't want to die, I'm to young. I quickly grab Elijah's hand a squeeze it tightly letting out a small whimper.

He looked down, rubbing his thumb over my hand. "Your ok, just fall asleep and this will all be over."

I didn't wait any longer as I felt myself fall into the darkness.
