Alex was helping Lori cook some dinner for everyone at the camp, she had to take her mind off the fact that Sam and the rest hadn't gotten back to the camp she needed a distraction. "Any lucky?" Alex asked Amy as she walked up to them with the red bucket. Lori held up a bowl so Amy could dump the mushrooms into it. "How do we tell if they're poison?" The blonde asked Lori. "Uh, there's only one sure way I know of." Lori responded to the girl.
Lori checked the mushrooms as Alex was in charge of the soup they were making. "Ask Shane when he gets back?" Amy said sitting down. "Yeah, you've got it." Lori said cleaning her dirty hands on her pants. Lori got the red bucket and stood up. "Thank you." She said. She looked at Alexis. "Look after Carl will you?" She asked her and she nodded her head to go.
Alex watched Lori walk away from them and she stood up. "Watch the stew, yeah?" She asked Amy standing up as well. Amy told her it's okay for her to go. Alexis got up and went up the roof of dales trailer. "Sweetheart, I want you to stay were Alex can see you, okay?" Alexis heard Lori tell her son. "Yes, mom." The little boy answered to her as he played in the dirt. "You too. Don't wander too far. Stay within shouting distance. And if you see anything, holler. I'll come running." Dale told Lori as she smiled up at the older man. She turned and walked away from them. Alexis looked at Lori as she walked away.
Alex knows, she knows what's happening between Lori and Shane, but she decided to keep it to herself.

Meanwhile, Sam was in the rooftop watching over the building they were in. He was on the other side when suddenly Merle, Daryl's brothers started to shoot at the walkers. Sam rolled his eyes and sighed. "Hey, Dixon, shut it." Sam told him but the redneck didn't listen. He just kept on shooting the flesh eaters. "Hey, Dixon, are you crazy?" Morales asked as he came out the door with the rest. "I told him to stop but he won't listen." Sam told Morales as the Dixon man started laughing. "Hey! Y'all be more polite to a man with a gun!" He said jumping down from where he stood. "Huh?" He said. "Only common sense." He said smiling at them. "Man, you wasting bullets we ain't even got!" T-Dog said going towards the man. With what was going on Sam didn't even notice his big brother was amongst all of his people. "And you're bringing even more of them down on our ass! Man, just chill." The man tried to him but of course he wasn't going to listen to him.
"Hey, bad enough I've got this taco bender on my ass all day. Now I'm gonna take orders from you?" Merle said to the man. Sam just scoffed shaking his head at the man. He knows how racist Merle really was and what was crazy, is that his brother was a little more respectful than his big brother. "I don't think so, Bro. That'll be the day." Merle said walking up to the man. Sam was just looking out to the buildings not knowing that his big brother's gaze was on his back.
