Alexis yawned stretching and smiled as she felt big arms wrapped around her small bump caressing it. "Morning." Sam whispered against her ear as her hands went on top of his. "Morning, handsome." She said back. "How'd you sleep?" She asked him as he sighs. "I couldn't." He whispered to her as she closed her eyes knowing why he couldn't sleep. "Hey, it's going to be okay." She told him as she reached behind her into his hair. She turned her head slightly and looked into his hazel eyes. "I'm just scared." He whispered. Alexis closed her eyes and turned her body around to face him. "Don't be. He's being guarded by our best men." She said back to him to see if that would calm him down. But it didn't, at all.
"Yeah, but the thing I've learned, is that even the best men make mistakes." He told her as he ran his thumb on her bare hips. The couple warm under the thick blanket Maggie had given Alexis. She sighed softly knowing that until Randell is either dead or very far away. He won't be able to rest in peace, and the only reason they brought him back, was because he also knew who Maggie was, and how he spoke about Alexis. Alexis was happy Sam didn't get to kill him. She knows he'll never come back from that one.
He's not the killing type and never will be. And she was scared the moment he's going to have to kill a person. Alexis knew she would have to do it herself one day. They live in a new world where killing is a normal thing. Because it's all about survival. It's either you kill or be killed. There's no in between.
"Well, for now we are safe, please rest." She told him softly as she cups his face. He sighed softly as he nods his head. Sam would do anything for his wife. So Alexis smiled and turned back around as he wraps his arms around her waist as he snuggled into her neck placing a loving kiss on her cheek before he tried to close his hazel eyes to get some kind of sleep.
Alexis closed her brown eyes relaxing at the feeling of his thumb caressing her bare small baby bump. Alexis couldn't wait until she held her baby in her arms. She knows how loved her child would be by her and her husband. With everything she's been through she's happy she had found her family her person. Someone that treated her like she deserves.
Alexis didn't even realize she had fallen asleep, until she heard a voice. "Knock, knock." She heard ricks voice as she and Sam both groaned. "You both are decent?" Rick asked as Sam grumbled. "Yes." He said as Rick opened up the tent flap and looked into the tent. Alexis' lifted her head as she looked at the blue eyed man. "What do you want, Rick?" She asked him as she was still bothered with the fact that he had put hands on his little brother for trying to protect his family from a piece of shit that should've been left for dead in that place they had found him.
"I need to talk to your husband here." He said as he looked at his little brother. Alexis looked over at him as he sighed getting up. "I'll be back." He said as he got up putting on his jeans and his shirt before he met Rick outside. She lays back down and she sighs.
