Kiara and Kion both passed out at the same time, and everyone else was confused and worried. They immediately rushed to get them to Rafiki.

"I'll get him!" Bunga exclaimed, immediately trying to push Kion forward and switching between three different positions before becoming exhausted and giving up.

Fuli rolled her eyes before taking Kion onto her own back and rushing him to Rafiki's tree, then rushing back and doing the same for Kiara.

By the time everyone else arrived at the tree, Simba and Nala were already there looking worried. Ono flew in and asked Rafiki about the royal cubs condition's while Bunga sat in the tree and Beshte watched from below. Tiifu and Zuri went up to lay down next to the siblings.

"De are fine," Rafiki began, waving it off. "Just talking to the Great Lion of the Past."

"Hapana! Why do they need to speak to them!? And how?" Ono questioned. Under other circumstances, Bunga also would have questioned this, but he was currently trying his best not to faint from confusion.

Fuli, who was silent so far, spoke up, "How long will they be like this? And why at the same time?"

"I do not know, but I do know this, dis has never happened before," Rafiki replied.

"Never?" Nala questioned. "I know it breaks tradition, but for this to be a first time occurrence..." She trailed off.

Bunga, Ono, Beshte, Fuli, Tiifu and Zuri were confused. Beshte mainly because he couldn't hear much.

"Let us move dis to de lair, in der I will explain more," Rafiki said. They all moved to the lair with Simba and Nala carrying their cubs.

When they all got situated Rafiki began explaining.

"Long ago, when the Pride Lands were first claimed by lions, they struggled with leading, but the best leaders were always the ones who had good relationships with der elders.

"Now, since obviously no lion can live forever, they needed to come up with a solution. Mandrills have always been able to interpret signs from the dead, so the lions came seeking council. So we mandrills took de honor of becoming royal advisors to the royal family.

"It wasn't enough though. Lions didn't much like such an ''inferior'' species telling dem what to do. So dey ignored our advise. So the Greats decided that at a certain age, de lion heir or heiress would be visited by them to teach them how to lead and make de right decision."

"But Kion isn't going to be king?" Beshte stated in a questioning tone.

Rafiki whacked him on the head, "You didn't let me finish!

"De GLOTP(Great Lions of the Past) walk the heir through their own life and show them deir failures and successes. Where dey listened and where they did not. The kings and queens finally became de Great Kings and Queens, and so dey continue to do dis with every generation. I do not know why de took Kion, but they must've had a good reason," Rafiki finally finished.

Simba spoke up for the first time, "I don't know much, but I did catch him talking to Mufasa this morning."

"Yes, but why is dis important? You do the same thing?" Rafiki inquired.

"What do you think is the best answer I get?" Simba asked.

At this, everyone leaned in, listening attentively. "I would guess a bit less than me, a ruffle in de wind, some dust blown here and der," Rafiki replied, still not quite understanding.

"Exactly, but Kion is able to have full-on conversations, and I mean back and forth," Simba said. Everyone but Fuli looked shocked.

"Are you sure? Dis is no joking matter Simba," Rafiki raised his stick in unveiled threat.

"He's serious, Kion has always been able to talk to Mufasa," Fuli said, and everyone turned to look at her. "What? We're best friends."

"Is it at least only Mufasa?" Nala asked.

"No, he also talks to Asahi and the other GLOTP, he even talked to Scar and got him to apologize to Mufasa." Fuli replied casually, cleaning her paw.

And that's when all hell broke loose. Bunga finally fainted, Beshte went under water, Tiifu and Zuri rolled their eyes in of course he did fondness. Simba and Nala looked ready to pass out and Rafiki went outside the lair and started yelling at the sky.
