Part I - spring - "The starting point"

Stolen glances, blooming smiles.
Blooming flowers, peeking sun
Fogged up windows inviting you
to write lovely names secretly

Romanticising joker, preaching the god
Hiding Easter eggs of feelings
Carving hearts on the growing trees
wishing to grow old with spring energy
and newfound blooming love.

Laughs that heal a broken heart
New leaves peeking from the dry twigs
Translucent green buds; young and curious
Pollen grains in air
Sneezes and sneezes followed by
"Bless you's!"

Part II - Summer - "So lost in love"

Tangled limbs, Tangled bedsheets
Smell of coffee and smell of honey
Smell of Sweet, sweet love
Honey love, rosy Love
that paints your cheeks with blood
Love that never lets you wake up alone

Love that kisses your skin and
Makes you glow and sparkle
brighter than the sun's kisses.
Love that never lets you move
the king and queen on a game of brains.

Sun burns your skin just for your
love to kiss it away, sending chills,
Cold chills down your spine

Love that makes you ponder
about the meaning of flowers.
Orange tangerines, peaches, daisies,
strawberries and soap bubbles
Fluttering butterflies in your stomach
making you want to vomit rainbows along with drizzling rain.

Part III - autumn (fall) - "Falling apart"

Untangled limbs, untangled bedsheets
Long nights without any warmth
Mornings that paint your face
in pale shades of grey, so ghostly, so blue
Carving scary figures on pumpkins
Adorning the house with deadly-spooky decorations; a kind of foreshadowing

Vibrant leaves of hope,
falls down one by one.
Love that makes you feel alone
Love that makes you feel not heard
Crackles of fire fighting for dominance
Under a single cozy blanket, two dying hearts- no more beating as one -
drowns in whiskey

Part IV - winter - "The breaking point"

Cold, freezing cold, runny nose
turning and tossing, with rivers of tears
coating the pillow that witnessed the fall.
Trying to find the missing pieces of puzzle
Holiday board games lie
scattered on the cold floor, unloved.

Tracking animal footprints on the snow
wondering where it would lead you on.
Drowning yourself in endless beverages,
slurred words of sorrow tumbling out.
Your heart in a state of hypothermia.
Holiday music, holiday blues
Faking smiles, buying gifts
Icy sidewalks, icy roads
trapping you in your lonely home.

Popcorns and old films, just to cry your heart out in the holiday season.
Watching the fire consuming pictures
of you two in hunger, wondering
about the what if's?
Christmas bells of death
Sparkling stars of sadness
Trying to get hold of the heart that you gifted away on a summer starry night.
