The streets of Tokyo bustled with activity as Sae made his way through the city, his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. It had been two years since Rin's death, and while he had managed to keep himself busy with soccer and other distractions, the pain still lingered beneath the surface, a constant reminder of the loss he had suffered due to his own stupidity .

As he arrived at the government office to renew his passport, Sae's plans were interrupted by the unexpected invitation to an interview , but nonetheless he went. The interviewer asked
"Do you have any aspirations to someday wear the national flag and represent Japan?" Sae sighed at the prospect of returning to play for Japan. It filled him with a sense of disdain, and he couldn't help but scoff at the suggestion.

"I'd rather drop dead," he retorted, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Playing soccer with German college students would be better than playing in Japan's lousy leagues."

"I was born in the wrong country."

With those words, Sae got up and took his leave at the mere suggestion of returning to a country that held so many painful memories for him. His manager followed after him, a look of concern etched on his face.

"Sae, you can't just walk out like that," his manager chided, his tone exasperated. "The press will have a field day with this."

Sae shrugged off his manager's warning, his mind already racing with thoughts of what lay ahead. As he made his way towards the exit, his ears caught snippets of a nearby conversation, a meeting about a program called Blue Lock.

Intrigued, Sae paused in his tracks, his curiosity piqued by the mention of creating the best striker. He turned his back towards the room, a determined glint in his eyes.

"Cancel my flight," Sae said abruptly, turning to his manager. "I want to see what type of striker Blue Lock can produce."

His manager's eyes widened in surprise, but he nodded in acquiescence. "Are you sure about this, Sae?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Sae nodded, a sense of determination settling over him. "A friend of mine told me to search for endless possibilities in a striker." he replied, his voice firm. "And if Blue Lock has that , then I want to find out for myself."

Then his phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, he saw that it was a call from Saumone, a good friend of his from Real Madrid

"Hey, Saumone," Sae greeted him, his voice tinged with curiosity.

"Hey, Sae! Have you seen this viral video of a high school soccer team?I think it's from Japan?" Saumone asked questioningly.

Sae shook his head, a flicker of interest sparking in his eyes. "No, I haven't. What's it about?"
