Clark and Bruce made their way down the hall of the lookout, walking side by side, their shoulders almost touching.
They entered the conference room and took their seats; only Diana was there, so Clark gave him a brief kiss, missing the glare that Bruce got for Wonder Woman.
Bruce, however, obviously didn't miss it and looked away, feeling ashamed. The others entered the room: Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, and Green Arrow.
They all sat down, and the meeting started. "So we have a problem," Diana glared at Bruce; this time, Clark didn't miss it and raised a brow at Bruce, who shook his head slowly.
The meeting finished with Diana passing odd looks at Bruce, and Clark approached him. "What is going on between you and the princess?" Clark asked, and Bruce sighed, knowing the others were watching.
"Yeah, Batman, tell him," Diana said, and Bruce glared at her.
"You two are pretty close. Did you two sleep together or what?" Hal asked, and Clark blushed while frowning.
"N-no, why would you ask that?" He inquired, and Bruce grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the room.
They didn't stop until they were at the batjet. Bruce released his hand and started to pace. "Hey, what happened back there? What's going on?" Clark asked, stopping him in his tracks.
Bruce looked up at him with a pained expression before sighing and looking away. "I- I, " Bruce started before realizing he couldn't go any further.
How was he supposed to tell Clark without the other leaving him? Seeing his internal panic, Clark placed a hand on his shoulder and used the other to lift his chin. He pressed his lips to Bruce's for a second before pulling away. "It's OK," he said softly. You don't have to say it if you don't want to. Tell me when you're ready," Clark said, and Bruce sighed and nodded.
"Can we go to my house?" Bruce asked, and Clark agreed. Bruce suggested he fly them both there in the jet so they would arrive at the same time.
They landed in the bat cave, and Clark hopped out, following Bruce to the elevator leading up to the manor. They exited behind a bookcase in the library, and Bruce led Clark up to his room and handed him some clothes before sitting on the bed. "Are you OK now?" Clark asked, and Bruce nodded.
"Do you want to watch a movie, maybe?" Bruce asked, and his stomach growled.
"I think we should eat first," Clark suggested, and Bruce blushed.
"I messaged Alfred on the jet. He's making lunch. He'll bring it up when he's done," Bruce said, just as there was a knock on the door, and Alfred entered with a tray in hand.
Before leaving, he placed it on the bedside table with a 'thanks' from both men. Bruce moved over to it and lifted the dome, and a bright smile appeared. "Alfredo." He said, picking up a plate and putting the bed beside him so Clark would join.
Bruce turned on the TV and watched the movie Frozen. Halfway through the movie, both men finished eating and placed the bowls on the tray. Now, Clark has Bruce tucked into his side, and they watch the movie.
Hearing a small snore, he saw that the other had fallen asleep. Smiling, he positioned them comfortably and turned off the TV, kissing Bruce's forehead before closing his eyes.
