Chapter 1

The clock struck 5pm signaling the end of class and that only means one thing...

"MINGHAO!!" I yelled running towards him in the hallway.

"AHHHH!" I heard him yell right before I tackled him into a hug. "Why are you running at me and yelling!"

"I missed you duh." I took a step back from him.

"But I just saw you three hours ago at lunch.""Exactly a whole three hours! So much has happened since then."

"Oh yeah? Like what."

"Like the end of the day which means we're on spring break!"

"Okay that's true. Speaking of spring break, Dino and Wonwoo want to go to this new restaurant tonight, do you want to come with us? It'll just be us three."

"Of course! You know I love trying new food."

"Yeah, I thought so, we can pick you up at 7 from your apartment?"

"Sounds good! I'll see you guys later!"

I gave Minghao one last hug before walking to my car and driving home.

Quick back story, Minghao and I have been best friends for what seems like our whole lives. I mean, we even dated at one point our freshmen year of high school... but we don't talk about that. When Minghao started training with the other guys from Seventeen and was always with them, I thought that was going to be the end of our friendship. I thought he was being taken away from me. Yes, it sounds silly, but how else am I supposed to feel when the one person I could talk to every day about anything hadn't talked to me in more than a week at one point. Regardless of all that, we talked and figured out how to make sure our friendship wouldn't dissipate, and that was introducing me to the other members! So, if you haven't guessed it by now, yes, I am also close friends with all 13 of them. But Minghao is still my #1 best friend of course.

I was snapped out of the conversation with myself by the sound of my phone receiving a text.

Hao 🐸

Minghao

Sky we're on the way! Stopping to put gas first so we'll be there in about 30 minutes.

Sky

Okay!

Wait! You never told me what to wear!

Minghao

It's on the fancier side. Do with that information what you will.

Sky

You just don't want me to outdress you.

Minghao

Of course, how else am I supposed to uphold my reputation of best fashion sense?

Sky

I hate you.

Minghao

XOXO.

I rolled my eyes at his last text, I bet he's smirking at this phone right now.

Then it hit me he said they'll be here in 30 minutes.

"Oh shit!" I sprung off from the couch and ran to start getting ready.

I wanted to look good tonight. Not too good, but good enough where I might catch the attention of a few guys. I've been wanting to get back on the dating scene but have had no luck... I blame it on Minghao, he always scares them away.

*Ring Ring Ring*

"Hi Dino!" I answered the call while doing the finishing touches on my hair.

"We're here outside... Minghao said to hurry up before he goes and gets you himself." Dino said with a sigh.

"I know, tell him to take a chill pill and I'll be down in five minutes."

"Okay we'll be here! But please hurry, he's kind of scary..." He whispered the last part.

I chuckled at him. "Don't worry I'm coming. Bye!"

The call ended and I made sure I had everything I needed before walking out the door.

As soon as I entered the car I was greeted by the smiles of Dino and Wonwoo, my two other closest friends from Seventeen. The ride to the restaurant was normal with small talk about what's going on at the university we go to and what's going on in their kpop idol lives. Soon after, we were sitting at the table eating all the food we could possibly fit into our stomachs.

"What do you guys think of the food so far?" Wonwoo asked.

"I think it's very good, I would definitely come back here again." Minghao replied. "Sky, what do you think?"

"This food is AMAZING. I can't believe they didn't make this restaurant sooner." Dino chuckled at my response.

After a while longer of eating and small talk, we all finished but enjoyed our time in the comforting and inviting atmosphere the restaurant provided us.

"What do you guys have planned for spring break?" I asked the table.

"Oh yeah!" Dino exclaimed. "Me and Wonwoo were talking with Seungcheol about the possibility of us going on a vacation this week. And of course you're invited Sky!"

"YAY! This sounds so exciting. Do you guys have an idea on where we're going to go?"

"We were thinking either Japan or the Philippines, but we want to leave tomorrow or Sunday, so I'm sure everyone is going to be texting in the group chat tonight trying to decide." Wonwoo replied.

"Well, I would love to go either way, so just let me know the details and I'll be there!"

The first few chapters are a lil slow I'm sorry, please bare with me :')
