Chapter 3

The next morning went by extremely quick as I busied myself with packing some last-minute things and making sure everything was okay around the apartment. At exactly 12:00pm, my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Good you're up."

"Yes Minghao I am up at 12 in the afternoon." I said with some sass.

"Hey you never know, maybe you might've decided to sleep in today."

"Nope! I was way too excited to sleep at all as a matter of fact."

"Yeah, that's not a good thing... anyways, Me, Dino, and Wonwoo will be there in 15 minutes to pick you up. We'll meet the rest of the guys at the airport."

"Sounds good! I'll be ready I promise."

"Mhm that's what you always say." He said right before he hung up the phone.

To his surprise, I was ready and waiting for them downstairs as soon as they pulled up. Minghao is a very punctual person, especially when we are going on trips, so I knew I needed to be on time or else he'd start freaking out. Luckily, I was too excited about this whole thing to be late.

The ride to the airport was short and sweet as the car filled with talks of what we will potentially be doing while we are in Japan and what we're most excited for. After we parked the car and got settled, we began walking to the airport entrance, but suddenly all our phones started blowing up.

Where are you guys?

Dino

We're walking towards the entrance now.

Hoshi

Well, you better hurry, our plane is about to board in 15 minutes.

Don't tell me...

Yep, they moved up our time.

"SHIT!" Minghao yelled suddenly before looking at us as if to say we need to start running, and now.

So, there we were, all four of us running as fast as we could while carrying our luggage and trying to get through security as fast as possible. As soon as we were all through, we began frantically searching for our gate, which luckily for us was not too far. By the time we made it there, completely frazzled and out of breath, we noticed the area was about half-full of people sitting around, and then we saw them. The other members sitting in the corner laughing like maniacs, catching the attention of those around them.

"OH MY GOD! You should see the look on your faces!" Mingyu yelled while clutching his side.

"You guys look insane right now running around and out of breath." Hoshi said kneeling on the ground trying to compose himself from all the laughing.
